Bolenowe Animal Sanctuary
I am a Trustee of the sanctuary and I am putting in a lot of work to help the animals. So, of course I think it is well worth visiting, although we do not open to the public until 1st Sunday in May, then every Sunday until end of October. We would love to see you there for a chance to meet the horses and ponies, have a cream tea, or other food and, perhaps, do some volunteering yourself.

Lovely visit meeting the animals. Lovely touch to include some information on each anima, name and how they came to be there. Great hospitality with lush cakes and cream tea in the sunshine. Thank you. Your doing a wonderful job.

The Sanctuary is open to visitors on Sundays, May to October, 11am to 4pmCafé and guided tours available.Welly boots advisable in wet weather and only suitable for strong wheel chairs.Dogs welcome if kept on leads.Please note: many of our animals are elderly and on special diets, so we request that you do not feed them.

Fantastic little place to visit and see lots of looked after horses, Donkeys and goats. They do such a good job looking after them all.Cafe open on sundays and at very reasonable prices.Staff are so very friendly and happy to chat about the horses - such a good place that should be supported!

Lovely place for a little wonder around. The animals seem well looked after with a nice variety from chickens to horses. The cafe and staff were excellent. Homemade cake on offer and plenty of drinks options. Would recommend for a nice day for all ages

Bolenowe Animal Sanctuary
Bolenowe is an animal Sanctuary looking after & re homing mainly Horses, Ponies but also Ducks, Geese, Turkey,s. Most Sundays in warmer weather they are open for public 2 meet the animals & have a Tea Coffee etc & Cake. All contributions 2 Bolenowe helps with the feeding, care & housing of the animals. Summertime there are car boot fayres & dog show. Well worth a visit.
