Great place to launch (kayaking in my case), but you need dropping off as no long-term parking (unlike Spadeoak or Gossmore eg). Gets busy on hot days.

Nice to hear the wier, watching the boats in and out of the lock, all the boats that use the slipway. The Two Brewers pub does good food. All accessible too.
