The Fireplace Man

Andy removed our gas fire and installed a log stove for us. We were super impressed with his knowledge and work.He arrived on time and was extremely respectful to our house leaving everything tidy!He maintained good communication and answered all my questions!!Would highly recommend!

Andrew let me down by abandoning a job he was supposed to complete installing a fireplace. I already had a plasterer onsite waiting to make good so it was a major inconvenience and cost.The reason he refused to do it was that I asked him to board up the back of another (decorative only) fireplace he fitted for me previously. I asked him before he fitted it to seal up the back with some concrete board I supplied but he did not, he just leant a piece of board against it. I still paid in full in good faith that he would come back to fix it. But when he came back he said there was absolutely nothing he could do about it, and refused to complete the job or to do the other fireplace. He told me to get someone else to finish it but he hasn't offered me any of the money back to do so.Avoid.

I had a brand new flue installed along with the lining, a new front and back hearth and multifuel stove fitted. To say I am over the moon is an understatement. From start to finish there was really clear communication, fantastic advice and really competitive pricing. The job that both Andy and Bob have done is wonderful, they worked very hard and were so clean you wouldn’t know they’d been here. I am so pleased and looking forward to winter

Andy installed a log burner for us along with a chimney liner/accessories. We had planned to build a new chimney and Andy's advice to our builder was invaluable. We found him communicative, straight forward and very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.

It was very easy to communicate with Andy from start to finish and he offered great advice and support during my wood burner purchasing process. AVOID AT ALL COST!! This person introduced himself as Andy. We agreed a price and he abandoned the job after he dropped the fire place mantle on the new Gas fire I bought. Very unprofessional!!!!
