It is absolutely an essential service and could not have been more supportive when we had to put our dog piper ro sleep.

Reception staff are very unfriendly, showed no sympathy to us at all when we had to put our cat down and almost seemed mad at us for even being there, they cared more about whether or not we were on benefits than our cat.The only reason it's getting 2 stars and not 1 is the vet we had was the sweetest person I've met, she was so sympathetic and kind and even let me hold and stroke my cat as he passed.

Vets are very kind and caring. At her first visit Zoe was diagnosed with arthritis and doggy dementia and given meds for pain x she became increasingly unwell was pacing, crying and very unsettled. After talking with vet 5 days after our first visit it was decided that the kindest thing to do was to let Zoe go. She was put to sleep in my with dignity and empathy knowing she was loved very much. Thank you PDSA

Staff couldn't of been any more friendly, my doggo Bella was in great and trusted hands. Amazing work these people do and recommend using them when needed and give what you can to help out. They really are doing amazing work.

Always been very friendly and helpful, usually there has been a long wait to get seen, even if I have had an appointment time I've still waited an extra hour, however they are a hospital and a very busy one at that. Had my cat in lots though and every time they have been very gentle with him, and supportive to me. If you can afford to use another vet I would suggest this purely to ease the work on PDSA, if u can afford to give a generous donation please do as the money is well used, and if u need to use the PDSA please don't worry they will take great care of u.

Lovely clean and pleasant surroundings. Staff are always friendly and helpful. There's a small car park with 2 disabled spaces but plenty of on street parking. The wait to see a vet isn't usually long averaging 5-10 minutes. The waiting room has plenty of chairs and is kept neat and tidy.Vets are thorough and very helpful. Medication is dispensed at the window around the side of the building and usually takes a few minutes to organise. Prices are very reasonable with spaying for dogs (female) £120 and male cats around £20. They have a website to request an appointment, and they will call you to arrange it. They accept card payments over the phone. The hospital accepts patients from Glasgow East and up to Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire. Patients are accepted from people on benefits with some treatments free, and others offered at a reduced cost. You can upload your benefit entitlements online. Very good pet service for people on low incomes. The hospital accepts food donations for any animals. Would thoroughly recommend.
