Can't serve drinks in reusable cups unless they have a lid, time that health and safety realised that the climate crisis is going to be worse for health than not having a plastic lid on a drink...

I went to the Costa in Churchill Hospital on Monday, and was very disappointed with the service i received. for starters they had run out of non decaf coffee, so i ordered 2 Hot Chocolates, then they were unable to add the points to my card as they did not have the machine to do that. They were also advising customers they had no ice, so couldn't make ice drinks. This seems a very popular café for both Staff, patient & Visitors. and should not be running out of stock of your basic items to run.

Written as visitor who has to sit around alone in the hospital for 5-6 hours every few weeks aha.Outlet gets a lot of flack that isn't wholly deserved in my opinion. Given its the singular place to get coffee that isn't freeze dried instant the queues aren't truly that bad, and you experience what you would expect at crunch time. Staff are always friendly, make good coffee and equally good quips and keep up their own good spirits.Yes, the weird ice supply issue is odd, yes they don't take Costa card (oh nooo) and yes it's clear they could sometimes do with more staff. Management type stuff that probably isn't even decided at local manager level to be frank.Will keep coming along when I'm down again (and again lol)

Used the same milk pitcher for two different types of milk, and then questioned repeatedly when we said the order was wrong, sniffing both drinks after we’d tasted them and knew what they’d done. A bit of luck it was my drink that was wrong, and not my partner who is lactose intolerant. Eventually agreed to remake drinks but staff whispered about us whilst doing so.

Just had a wonderful experience at this Costa location. My colleague had accidentally had milk put in my drink (something I don't consume). I spoke to Joe at the counter and he very kindly offered to remake the beverage for me.I'm very grateful to Joe and the team for their help.Thankyou so much.

A great idea in the hospital but very slow service. Queues all day and they just open and close whenever they wish.If you need a coffee while in the hospital go somewhere else

Great public facing staff who are so poorly supported by their managers. There's frequently only one person serving and so long queues and a stressed member of staff. They often run out of milk which I can understand once or twice but this is on a regular basis. It's hit and miss if they have any ice for cold drinks as they don't have an ice machine so get it delivered in. All in all it's a frustrating experience but great drinks if you can manage to get one and lovely members of staff once you've queued for 20 minutes to put your order in (or to find out they don't have the ingredients for your order).

It’s 9:30 on a Sunday and the Costa still isn’t open when it was due to open at 9. I’ve been coming up the hospital for roughly 2 weeks and the entire time I’ve been here they’ve had no ice for cold drinks and they’ve had the shutter down for the hot food majority of the time. I love Costa but this is just terrible, you’d think in a hospital with patients and staff who like their breakfast and coffee they’d be better at making sure they’re stocked and open on time.

Never have milk so can't serve any coffees. Tea is boiling hot, you need to able to carry it with you for a least a hour before you able to drink it. Its pathetic!!
