This is a wonderful cottage. It is perfectly located at the end of the high street near the shops and a short walk to the harbor. The house has been recently renovated to a very good standard and has lovely furnishing but still retains a lived in feel which makes it feel warm and friendly. The kitchen is very well equipped. I would definitely recommend to both couples and families.

What can you say about this perfect bolt hole from the world? It is a beautifully clean cottage & very close to all local amenities. The owner was so helpful when we were booking. Nothing was too much trouble. We went with our son, daughter in law & our beautiful granddaughter for 5 days.Everything you need is provided. It is really cosy in the evenings! The town itself is very quaint & charming. Highly recommend this lovely place.

Four of us spent a fantastic weekend at The Mousetrap in early May. The house is situated across the road from a beautiful church, metres away from a family pub serving great food and only a short distance away from the seafront and town. The kitchen is really modern, and well stocked with cutlery and equipment, plus the lounge and bedrooms are very comfortable. Loads of activities nearby including alpaca trekking, crabbing, pubbing and the beautiful Holkham Hall. Will definitely recommend The Moustrap to friends and family.

Spent a wonderful weekend there while taking part in a triathlon. Great location for running, cycling and swimming in the channel. All within easy reach of the Mousetrap and facilities allow for locking up bikes outside and drying wetsuits in courtyard. Very nice rewards available after activities including an excellent coffee shop on the quayside and plenty of pubs to choose from.

Stayed here while competing in the North Norfolk Triathlon. Really well set up for a weekend of activity - solid bike racks at the front, outdoor space for drying wetsuits and the owner was kind enough to arrange some additional bike locks if needed- we didn't. Wells is a very safe place to stay! Really close to the Quay for the event and for training swims - it's so well located for training as well as competing. Owner apparently has competed as well so is very knowledgeable about good run routes, cycle routes etc. Will definitely be staying there again.

A wonderful cottage located right in the heart of Wells giving easy access to shops, pubs and restaurants. With just a short walk to the beach and situated ideally for exploring the surrounding towns, villages and historic sites, by car or bicycle, Mousetrap really is the perfect getaway !!! I'll definitely be heading back. Thanks for a great stay !!

We had a lovely stay at The Mousetrap, my husband is disabled but didn’t have any problem getting around with his walking sticks. We had 3 generations staying at the weekend and found everything was available that we needed. It is in a great position both for walking down to the quay and driving either way on the coast road. We were fortunate enough to see the new lifeboat, the Duke of Edinburgh, actually launch into the sea, my father’s name is on the side of the boat so it was very emotional. We would definitely recommend a stay at The Mousetrap.

The mousetrap is a stunning cottage, I stayed there for a week and loved it. The cottage has plenty of room and has a real family and cosy feel to it. I would definitely recommend staying at the mousetrap to a friend as everything's so close. The beach is only a 15 minute walk away with a lot of shops around and a co-op just around the corner. Plenty of activities for a whole week of fun!

My family and I spent a fantastic weekend at the Mousetrap earlier in October. The house itself is just a short 5 minute walk from the seafront, along one of the beautiful old streets of Wells. The Mousetrap has everything you'll need for a holiday, whether you use it as a base to spend the day on the beach or as a cosy home-from-home where you can cook a meal for the family and then spend the night in front of the fire. The beds were very comfy and having two bathrooms was very useful when we came back from a day on the sand, intending to head out for dinner on a quick turnaround. The owners have clearly put a lot of thought into creating a good guest experience, from the lovely decor and original artwork on the walls to a virtual library of good ideas for places to eat and visit. We will definitely go back as soon as we can.
