Always excellent. Have been using Grant for a couple of years now & his repairs are the best I've found. Quick, professional and very polite.Repaired soles on old & new boots & even my wife's heels mended brilliantly.

I was advised to go by a friend, I can say that I won't be going anywhere else for my shoes. The price was incredible especially for the level of work which you can pay more for, for less. Especially to mention that he was happy to stay open until I arrived on a Friday as I was running late. Very happy.

Grant at Distinctive Shoe Repairs is a wizard! I have regularly used Distinctive Shoe Repairs as my cobblers of choice, and had a number of my shoes repaired and conditioned here. I have never been disappointed and Grant always goes above and beyond to exceed my expectations. Recently, I turned up with over 5 pairs of shoes that needed full leather re-sole and some love and attention. They did a great job and he even managed to create a beautiful leather band in place of the tassels on some John Lobb loafers that seen better days. A great solution and they look as good as they ever have. You can entrust Distinctive Shoe Repairs to do a fine job, whether working with beloved old shoes or work shoes that just need to get the job done. I must recommend (and have been meaning to do so for some time!). 10/10

Trust the 5 star reviews! I tried Distinctive Shoe Repairs for the first time and was very impressed. A pair of boots I love needed a zipper repaired and some stiching fixed. Everything was done quickly, with incredible detail and care and for a very reasonable price. They look better than when I first bought them! Happy to say I've found my new favourite cobbler in London - thank you!

Just collected my pair of red wing 877s, which have been completely rejuvenated and are like a new boot. Complete resole, midsole and heel, all done expertly and for a great price. Easily the best cobbler I’ve had in London

The true cobbler experience - a no-fuss bloke who knows his boots and shoes and wrangles them daily, domesticating stray soles, and biting wagging tongues. This guy isn't a part-timer, there's no cutting keys and dry-cleaning on the side. He'll fix your shoes, and don't expect a sprinkle of smoked paprika on the plating-up. Got the job done well and promptly, and I personally can't wait until my dodgy Timberlands fail on me again after the next rain-shower, so I can revisit the ethereal world of this Curious Cabinet of Cobbling.

Not really sure where all of the 5* reviews are coming from. I was pretty disappointed with the level of work and attention to detail. I had to ask to redo 3/4 pairs that I dropped off. Areas were missed, and men’s shoes stitched in a way where a hole was left. Solution for that was just to glue it down and honestly I didn’t even want to leave them there again.
