Had a great time on the river, stopped halfway, very relaxing time. For the price, it was VERY worth it. If you're staying near here, don't pass up a relaxing trip

The 3 of us were so well briefed and equipped for our 14 mile paddle - we knew that we were in very safe hands right from the start. Rafting up was such a good idea.

Great half day canoeing trip with 2 rafted together. Very stable and easy for kids. Very efficient service overall and quick ride back to the base. Only negatives is, the trip includes a recommendation to stop at the Bost Inn in Redbrook. We did, but there is nowhere to moor the boats properly, slippery and dangerous rocks to climb to get up to the pub. Pub shut, despite 30-40 river trip people waiting. Loads of boats trying to get in, but no room and very dangerous! Once pub opened, service was terrible!

Just got back from a fabulous 2hr canoe along the river. Lovely to see the swans and their signets. As well as many other birds and ducks. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Despite my husband and I being OAP's the 2 hrs was perfect.

Fantastic company to deal with. Sue and Graham with their team make it so easy to organise a day on the river. On the day comprehensive safety briefing, simple instructions and seamless service and we were on the river. The river is so majestic with an abundance of bird life. We saw a couple of Kingfishers that are such a treat. Could not recommend a day on the water with Monmouth Canoe hire enough.

Great family owned company best on the wyeJust returned from a adventure filled weekend canoeing. Best of all if you book with them you can camp in there there own campsite by the riverside 10min walk into townThanks Graham and Sue will definitely be back again very soon

Outstanding experience. Despite some tough conditions (Storm Babet!) we were able to enjoy a wonderful trip from Kearne Bridge down the Wye to Monmouth with our guide Paul. Sue handled all the logistics brilliantly and liaised with us around river levels and provided all suitable attire. I'd have zero hesitation booking again with them, worth every penny.

Brilliant experience. We hired a 3 person canoe for a half day, from Monmouth to Whitebrook. Good instructions on the route before we set off and collected in a minibus at the end to take us back to the start. Loads of wildlife on the river - Herons, Kingfishers, and my favourite, a Dipper.
