This salon has always been one if the most professional salons I have ever used. The staff cannot be more helpful and the skill of the hairdressers are second to none. I cannot praise them highly enough. And now with the added pressure of Covid 19 they are most diligent and scruplious in their customer care.

Barbers they are not.Booked a men's hair cut at short notice which was nice, and then even changed it for an earlier appointment.Got to my appointment and when I said what I'd like done the hair dresser immediately said I DON'T DO SKIN FADES". I think she meant 'I CAN'T'.This managed my expectations for the hair cut and it was clear the hair dresser was inexperienced with men's hair. Asked for a grade 2 sides and back as an alternative but she didn't manage it and an uneven cut on the top left me disappointed.I wouldn't mind so much but their website advertisers the fact they do men's styling and they were more than happy to fit me in.The staff were very friendly and accommodating and I can't speak for the other hair dressers there or how good they may be with long/woman's hair

I’ve been going to Sam’s for about 2 years now and Debby is my hairdresser. I was always so nervous about going to the hairdressers but she made me feel so comfortable and we have such a laugh. My hair was a complete pain but she’s managed to over the years take it from brown to blonde to platinum blonde and silver and back to a gorgeous auburn colour all the while my hair has stayed in great condition which is amazing and I could never thank her enough! I cannot emphasise how welcoming and lovely Sams salon is, all the ladies (and gents) are lovely and I will never stop going here!

I came in to have my hair bleached blonde, I explained it very clearly and I even showed them wigs & hair extensions. They did the complete wrong thing, it was really upsetting. It cost £90; i’m very young and don’t have a lot of money, but i’ve wanted blonde hair for years & it was my birthday. It was nothing like I asked. That night, I emailed back and forward the owner explaining the problem. No help was given at all and after a while, they decided to ignore my emails. I emailed in a few times after, but i’ve been ignored. It’s been about a three 1/2 months since the appointment. I’ve gone to other hairdressers after this and explained the problem, in which they thought it was awful too & even offered me discounts for getting my hair bleached blonde. I never get upset, but i’ve been completely ignored and it was a total shame. I’ve heard a lot of great things about this place, even the reviews are great, so I trusted them to listen to me. But it was just awful, I didn’t get what I asked for.

I don't do reviews but i really felt i wanted too.This is the first time I’ve been to this salon and had my hair done and wow i was blown away, being a qualified hairdresser myself I’m some what fussy!!I was booked in with Tia and she was amazing, she actually listened to everything i asked for and the end result was 110% what i wanted. I’ve never had a decent hair colour but this girl was fab. A real asset to the salon and extremely talented. I will be staying with her from now on.

Just had a restyle and colour at Sam's Hair and Beauty by the wonderfully talented Brendan. Brendan was fantastic throughout, gave some amazing advice to know what would suit me colour wise and style wise.I felt very pampered and am absolutely delighted with the result. Love it. Thank you Brendan

Been coming to this place for donkeys years, through many name and decor changes. No matter how it looks or what it's been called, it's always been great.Fantastic service, friendly staff and great value.An amazing choice of hair and beauty services, with knowledgeable, approachable members of staff.I highly recommend Sams Hair and Beauty *****

First time in a salon in 6 years. Mammoth job for the poor girl but absolutely amazing. I am in love with my new hair and can't wait to book again. All so friendly and professional.
