Sarah is a great teacher with excellent knowlegde of teaching methods. She is very friendly and easy going. Sarah uses video playback to help you understand the small mistakes you are making and delivers a debrief after each lesson with a breakdown of each step and progress you are making. She's awesome, get a lesson!

First time on a skateboard and Sarah did drills with me to make sure I felt safe on my feet on the board before gradually building to more complex drills. She demonstrated well, challenged me but also made sure she was there to catch me! Her tips and pointers were spot on and she took videos to show you exactly where to make adjustments. If you're looking to get into skating, Sarah would be a fantastic teacher - explains things in a way newbies can understand, encourages you all the way, and inspires such enthusiasm!

Sarah is so passionate about what she does- her energy is infectious! She instantly makes you feel at ease and has helped with my confidence so much. Can’t recommend her enough!

Such a great class with Sarah! Sarah is a supportive and motivational teacher. She pushed me to a point that I was capable of which and I felt like I achieved a great deal in just one class! She's very talented and passionate and as an older person learning to skate for the first time, I found Sarah's guidance really useful. Will do again!

We had the pleasure to meet Sarah in December 2022 whilst visiting in London. At that point my two boys were just starting skateboarding and Sarah was contemplating an idea of starting teaching skateboarding. Even though Sarah was a complete stranger at the time, the connection with my boys was instant. She explained everything very clearly and demonstrated the tricks that were easy to follow. My boys have progressed a lot during those few days. Now that Sarah has started teaching professionally, I’ve booked a one to one lesson for my boys. When we met in the park, Sarah talked us through the plan of the lesson making sure that both parties were on the same page. The lesson was very well structured, starting with the warm up in the pump track, learning a few tricks, then getting on to the main area learning more sophisticated tricks such as rock-fakies and axle stalls as well as controlling the speed (pumping). As a parent I can only praise Sarah for her warm personality and ability to work with children as well as having excellent people skills. Also as someone who was skating as a kid, I now am keen to book a lesson for myself too!

Sarah is a natural teacher. She makes you feel totally comfortable and confident to keep trying.In just two lessons she has taught me so many fundamentals in a really understandable way. Can’t wait for more!

That and her winning grin make learning to skate with YH more than just a balancing act! At 68 I have booked my first (and maybe Sarah's first) international online lesson.
