This is without doubt the best roast in Brighton!!!!Proper charcoal cooked roast, really good veggies and a very cool place. It's been open 7 months bit it's already one of the best places I've eaten in Brighton and we've been here 20 years!!! And really good value too .... What a great find

Incredible first time experience at Embers. Cannot fault the service, and ambience. The food was so delicious, the veg just as special as the meat dishes over fire. The bartender was particularly impressive also, and everyone was very friendly. Cannot wait to come back for the Sunday roast and to bring friends!

Took my partner to Embers for his birthday. We're passionate about eating out and all things that make experiencing food and drink enjoyable. There's some stiff competition in Brighton and Hove, but Embers is now up there as a favourite after this meal. Everything we ate was smoky satisfaction. Each dish thoughtful and flavourful. We were on the pass, watching all the action, which we loved. The restaurant was cosy and buzzing, but in an intimate, exciting way. The service was perfectly pitched and delivered with a sense of humour and a smile. Great food, great cocktails, great night... we didn't want to leave!

We managed to get a reservation at the bar (where you get to watch the chefs in action) on their second evening. Everything was perfect from the greeting right up to the end of the evening - like they'd been open for weeks. Friendly, knowledgeable waiting staff, delicious drinks, amazing dishes. We tried almost all the small plates which were truly inspired and so complex in composition, flavour and texture. Rounded off with dessert, couldn't have asked for more and will definitely be back again... and again.

What a fantastic find. Incredible food prepared and served by a team as passionate about their service as they are about their food. We sat at the pass, and oh dear, as we watched each dish prepared, we just wanted to taste it and so ordered more than is healthy for a lunch time! The flavours were spectacular, with a real experience unique to each dish whilst honouring traditional tastes too. For example the amazing wagyu was served with a sauce that had the hints of peppercorn we all love but it was just sensationally better than one you have ever tasted before. As ever with Isaac, the wine list is really special too.My advice book now before it gets so popular it takes three months to get a table.

Embers is a fine dining restaurant in Brighton that serves modern European cuisine with a focus on locally sourced ingredients. The menu changes seasonally, but you can always expect to find “dishes that deliver punchy yet contrasting flavour combinations”: creative, flavorful, and beautifully presented. One of the things that sets Embers apart is its use of fire. The kitchen has a grill, with a wood-fired oven that gives the food a smoky, charred flavor. This is evident in dishes like the smoked lamb chump with garlic scapes and mint, and the charred broccoli with sweetcorn cream, mole and hazelnut. The service at Embers is impeccable. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable, and they make you feel like you're in good hands. They’re never pretentious, making this restaurant very welcoming and accessible to everyone, especially with their 2 for £14 deal and industry night. They're also happy to make recommendations if you're not sure what to order.Overall, Embers is a fantastic restaurant that offers a truly special dining experience. It's the perfect place to go for a special occasion or a romantic evening.Overall, I would highly recommend Embers to anyone looking for a special dining experience in Brighton. It's a bit on the pricey side (rightfully so) but the food, service, and atmosphere are all top-notch. And if you want fine dining on a budget, they have a 2 for £14 deal at 5-6pm!

Beautiful food in a wonderful setting. Dave and the team provided exceptional service and hospitality to make our meal truly special. The vegan menu is one of the best I’ve ever tasted and I can’t wait to try even more next time we visit (and we definitely will visit!). A true star of Brighton’s food scene
