The Gloucester
Sometimes you want 6 stars because this place would have 6, very clean and welcoming. We had a drink in the afternoon and decided to return later for food and was not disappointed at all the staff are great and very helpful and even though I had been given an allergy advice folder for the menu the staff still took a note and informed the kitchen, the lady with the pink braid in her hair is a credit to the pub, very helpful and attentive thank you. Oh and the food is top notch.

Amazing pub! Staff went above and beyond to cater to my group of friends, one of us being veggie and another being vegan. They made us feel so welcome and like nothing was too much hassle or bother. I would like to make a special mention to Sam in the kitchen who served us our Sunday carvery, his customer service stood out particularly.

Having to be treated for a trip in the pub,the staff were very kind,knowledgeable and efficient in treating my husbands cuts and grazes.So we booked up later for a table for 13 and again the staff were very accommodating.The food was great and plentiful and the ambience in The Gloucester was great.Would highly recommend and again a big thankyou to the staff for your kindness.

We had lovely food here which was good size portions and it wasnt overpriced. Half a barbcue chicken and gammon. Definately worth visiting we will be going back.

Sort of a basement establishment. Descent sized room, Food being served. A few TV's around showing the football. Pool table in the adjoining room. Usual tap beers on. I had a Guinness which was ok. Staff were friendly. Good visit.

Well we were very surprised with the quality of food and the price. If you are ever get the chance to go in and eat we would recommend it. Staff very friendly and quick, plenty of space inside and the option to sit outside.
