I've used Michael for various jobs over the past 10 years. He has never let me down - in terms of quality of work, attention to detail, courtesy and fairness in pricing. Michael Black Carpentry and Maintenance
Michael has carried out a few jobs for us over the last couple of weeks, from building a coat and shoe cupboard in our hallway to painting our wardrobe doors and dressing table. We are exceptionally happy with all his work.He is professional, punctual, kept me informed and carries his work out to a high standard. He was respectful of my home. I can’t rate him highly enough.

Michael has done a range of jobs for us over the last year. Most recently he overhauled our wardrobes, part of which meant making new bespoke doors with beading and insetting some paper we’d picked up. Really tidy work, and always a reliable friendly service.

We found Michael Black Carpentry through a recommendation from friends. We wanted our kitchen completely replaced. From obtaining designs Michael made suggestions which have worked out brilliantly. We are really pleased with the end result. We have a beautiful kitchen and utility space. It wasn't the cheapest quote but well worth it as the friendly professional approach throughout certainly reduced what could have been a very stressful time. Thank you to you and your team!

Michael Black Carpentry and Maintenance
I approached Michael with 5 rooms to have flooring fitted, he gave his professional opinion and the best advice on which types of flooring he recommended. He was so helpful and always available to talk. Originally he was quite booked up but when we told him we were away on holiday he utilised that time as we figured it would tricky to work with the kids about! Can't thank him enough, it's perfect!
