I took my van in to sort a problem with the interior lights not going out.They organised it really well and were nice enough guys who served me.After having the job explained I decided to go with the cheaper option they offered but was still charged £288- really not sure why it was so expensive for what they completed.I also have a problem with my side doors locking, but they quoted nearly £600 all in to sort that on top of the £288 I’d already paid for the other repair.The point of my review is don’t be as naive as I was please look around first and get price comparisons as I felt I’ve been ripped off.

Excellent service from this start to finish nice cup of tea ( not Yorkshire ) but all in all I'd recommend this place to everyone

Avoid far to much to write they had our car for a total of three months. He couldn't fix the issue had the car towed back home. Sold it to a reputable mechanic he solved it by fixing what I had previous paid the garage to fix. Strange thing he said he sent the ecu, instrument cluster off to be repaired. Looks like he doesn't do anything in house. We rang to talk to him we were told his on holiday,on a training course and eventually we were told he was rehoming his dog?. Not sure if it's a running joke. We popped in as we couldn't get hold of him he apologised and said his just come back from holiday. My opinion he needs more training courses.

Phoned Auto Electrics on Thursday about a Mondeo Estate rear light problem,one which other garages couldn’t fix,was told we could bring it in Friday morning or Saturday morning.We could both manage Saturday morning @ 08-00,Bruce was bang on time,we went away having left the car,within an hour and a half,Bruce phoned us saying he had found the fault and fixed the wiring,also replaced a headlamp bulb.We went over,settled the bill,which was very reasonable in my opinion and will definitely use Auto Electrics again if we get any more electrical problems.

A power window problem on my wife's MX5 had plagued us for about three years. Being also interlocked with the power roof there was always a worry of being caught in the rain and unable to close the roof. When it stopped being an intermittent fault with the passenger window not working at all I decided to find an auto electrician. Top of the list was Auto Electrics West Midlands. Within three hours of having the car the problem was diagnosed, cured and car ready for collection. A faulty solder joint on a circuit board being the cause.Ok, not a cheap experience, but very professional and efficient. I'd have wasted so much time and effort trying to find the problem I hate to contemplate it.Well done Auto Electrics, thank you.

I am a mechanic and I from what I have seen I would not trust these with my car.I recently repaired my friends car who had been quoted over £1000 here to replace four injectors in a car because one had failed.The garage later said after doing some research they could have done it cheaper because they could have got away with only changing one.While replacing the injector I noticed the loom at the injectors had been damaged during the diagnostic process. The outer plastic coating on the loom was damaged exposing bare copper which may lead to issues further down the line.Please note this is my indirect experience with this garage and may not represent all work undertaken here.
