Been with my friend before on a date was so good I decided to take my parents out for a meal we all had a amazing time. Staff are so friendly amazing food nice well kept gardens and outdoor seating area for outdoor dining. Very good choice of ciders, beers and ales on tap at great prices. Will definitely be coming back soon

The Crown
Passing through from shuttleworth and fancied a Guinness before the sun disappears for the winter. I was met by incredibly friendly bar staff who brought our drinks to the benches in the garden. The children had a great time running around and playing on the slides. Looking forward to visiting again for a Sunday lunch and a pint next summer.

Pub was fairly busy on a Wednesday evening which was nice. We waited quite a while for our food and for some reason even longer for the deserts. My chicken burger was a bit dry and didn't come with a lot of source. The caesar salad had hardly any dressing too.

Dropped in for an early Friday evening meal at the Crown. Was just what we wanted after a bussy day out. The food was excellent, not over fussy and we'll cooked and presented. Friendly attentive staff. Small pub with a big heart.

We had a large party for dinner at the crown, it overall has a good atmosphere and lovely and the staff. Howeve the linguine was half full with fennel and celery with very little prawn and no crab unlike the description on the menu. Further more, the own was very cold and unwelcoming when we were seated and served. Overall the experience was unsatisfactory .

1st time here and loved it. Bit of a wait for food but that wasn't a problem as it was worth the wait. Old pub with beams and a log burner. Intimate spaces for special occasions. Huge rear garden with climbing area for the kids, plenty of outdoor seating too. Clean place, good polite staff. Will definitely be revisiting soon!
