Eighty Eight was wonderful. Really great spot with a nice modern vibe. I had the tasting menu which was approx. 7 dishes and very reasonably priced for the quality. Plus 2 glasses of delicious wine. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful meal at this small but cozy restaurant. The food was excellent - bold and full flavours. We love a sharing concept and had 10 plates in total for our group of four. The plates came out at a steady pace, we never felt rushed. Small but good wine selection. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We went to other, more expensive restaurants in Glasgow but this was by far our favorite. We spent 245 pounds which included 3 bottles of wine - a very fair price. Absolutely recommend this spot, we will definitely visit again next time we're in the area.

We came in just for drinks at the bar on a Thursday evening. Firstly, let me say that the cocktails were outstanding - creative and well executed. Service wasn’t great though, we were basically ignored by staff and had to seat ourselves and then attract their attention to be served every time we wanted a drink - no checking in, clearing glasses, greeting us etc. Could be a really, really great place if the quality of service matched up to the quality of cocktails.

This is a lovely little place in the West End of Glasgow. It does small menus and small plates, but everything that comes out of the small kitchen is delicious. Service is friendly and informed. Booking is essential. We went on a pasta special menu evening.

This is one of those restaurants that you might miss when you pass by as its sign is too small. The gap between the tables would have been better if it was a bit bigger.I went for dinner on a Friday night and the restaurant was full of people, obviously it was a popular restaurant, but a bit noisy.

Incredible coffee and even better pastries! They have the most gorgeous cups and the atmosphere is really cosy! I personally loved that you were offered a choice of single origin for your coffee and the menu included tasting notes to help you choose. I am keen to return to try out their selections of wine one evening!

Almost a five! The formula is spot on - buzzing vibe, interesting menu, dare to try something different, great staff (even if they are the victim of their own success). 'Small plates in a small restaurant' - yes, a bit on the cramped side. Food was interesting and generally excellent. Not quite sure about all the wine pairings. Reasonable value. Bottom line, absolutely would recommend and look forward to returning.

Amazing place to dine out - must try.We always walk past and see them hanging out the fresh pasta and think it looks great, we finally went whilst walking past and it was one of the most delicious, best presented and creative dinners I’ve ever had.The chefs were extremely accommodating of our dietary requirements (two vegans) and even said that if we called in advanced next time they could prepare a vegan desert. The waitress who served us was also very helpful and friendly.

Delicious / creative / Technical dishes in a great price. This restaurant deserves a Michelin star and I'm sure they'll get one if they continue like this, although the pressure a star creates could spoil the excellent taste of the dishes which is the most important thing. I would definitely recommend the tasting menu. A couple of dishes could be improved by creating a better balance, but overall all dishes I will remember the experience and would pay double the price for this menu. We paid £25 pp. Have eaten worse food when I paid 100-150pp.The hanger steak was sensational, the technique was amazing, it just melted in your mouth. Haven't achieved to cook it like that and haven't eaten a better one in any restaurant including high priced steakhouses or Michelin star restaurants. I will be in contact for the recipe :)PS: Not the best photographs as I was so mesmerised and forgot to take more.PS2: Please consider putting the hanger steak in the menu exactly as it was served on 14-Feb-22
