It was on site at the Holiday park we stayed at so don't make a special journey but it was pretty fascinating. No facilities as part of a private park.

Very interesting. Google maps says to can drive up to it. You can't. Its a bridleway and it's about a 20 minute walk. Very muddy when I went.

Stumbled across this place. There is a small monument placed on the foundation of a hanger where his last concert took place. There is nothing left of the WW2 airfield nearby which is a shame.

Free to visit, but you need to walk there. A bit of research for the footpath is needed.

Fantastic memorial to Glenn Miller on the original foundation of the Callender Hamilton hangar and King's Cliffe Airfield but the atmosphere spoilt by the holiday park next to it.

Standing here with the sound of an aircraft overhead made me think what it would have been like all those years back when it was an operational ww2 airbase
