Very sorry state of affairs. Townsends are trying to charge me storage for a car that was neither roadworthy nor safe, despite months of their saying it was and repeated attempts to rectify several problems including a potentially lethal fault, and then charge a £500 cancellation fee (that I was unaware of) because I lost faith in their integrity as a company due to their attempts to hide, cover up and botch-repair some potentially lethal safety issues. Very disappointing and actually quite scandalous.

As posted by another customer, make sure the V5 is sent off whilst you are there as they took 8 weeks to send off ours.Now dealing with any issues with tickets our drivers may acquire and trying to contest them has become a logistical nightmare

Dont touch this shower with a barge pole. They take your money for a vehicle but then fail to register the vehicle meaning you have to pay to register it and unable to tax it for 8 weeks. Then slam the phone down on you when you question them. Look out for my case I've raised with BBC watchdog!!!

Just bought a super Honda Jazz. Chris the sales manager was super friendly and very professional. The Honda was given a service and an MOT before collection and came with a six month warranty. A super hassle free purchase, would certainly recommend Townsends in Rugby if your looking for a quality used car.
