Space Homes have been brilliant from start to finish during the buying process. We originally had a completion date of 7/9 but due to delays it got pushed back and we were told it would be November time. Our mortgage offer was due to expire at the end of October, we explained our circumstances to Space Homes and they made sure our house was ready by the end of October. We completed on 28/10 and absolutely love our new home, it's perfect! Beth was absolutely brilliant throughout the whole process, she kept us up to date with everything that was happening, explained everything clearly, got back to us very quickly when we had questions and was just fantastic all the way through. I couldn't recommend Space Homes and Beth enough!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. We were so excited when buying out new house and being shared ownership was a great way to get on the property ladder. This is the only thing Space Homes have going for them. We went through 3 sales ladies. The First Lady lost our order form for tiles and such, not a great start, as we had to complete again with the Second Lady. Great actually, as I’d decided I wanted to change the tiles anyway! Changed our order with the second sales lady and was happy. We were given a December handover, yay! We’d be in for Christmas! So excited. The second sales lady disappears replaced by a third lady. Lovely lady who said and I quote ‘so you know it’s a March handover?’ Most certainly did not, turns out the second sales lady blatantly lied about our handover day and just made up a random date. Gesture of good will given by third lady! Third sales lady confirms our tile choices which were incorrect so I corrected. All good. Until the wrong tiles are put in. In the bathroom, en-suite and downstairs toilet. But it’s okay, as they offered £200 compensation as ‘that’s what it would cost to rip out tiles and redo ourselves.’ Quote.All in all, rubbish sales and aftercare service. AVOID.

Purchased our first home at Saddlers Way, Keighley site! Judith who was our sales officer was friendly, accommodating and very informative, and helped us with all the requirements we needed to buy our home. She responded to emails very quickly and also called us frequently to update me and my husband the process of our application.We are so grateful for having such a wonderful experience purchasing our first home with Space Homes! The process was straight forward and very easy to follow!!We got our keys within 2 months of reserving our chosen property and the home itself has been completed to a very high standard.Highly recommend!!!

When we started to look into shared ownership houses we originally had a very bad experience. When we found the house with space homes they have been a pleasure from the beginning. Sue Lowe, who is our main point of call, has simply been incredible. She explains everything clearly, keeps us updated and checks in regularly. She is always helpful, cheerful and makes us feel like she really wants the best for us. We can’t thank her enough.Everything is done quickly and professionally. All the hard work is done for you.Very fantastic experience and we cant wait to move into our new home.Thank you.Beth and Matthew

Totally disappointed with Hodgson gate estate. Not finished but all houses are complete and sold. Weeds and roads look awful.Pleased with service from Sue Lowe and Phil Hawksworth. Happy with our new house but very unhappy with parks and public areas. Sad

Avoid at all costs! All good until the keys are handed over, then after sales take over. Was lied to on the key hand over, snagging could be over 48 hours, then find out it had to be done there and then. After care team lie and pass the book to not have work done. Was promised grass asap when we moved in, 7 weeks in still no grass. Best but is a landscape gardener is working for space homes 2 doors down prepping a garden for a house still for sale, tells you everything about this company.

Excellent team and especially Sue Lowe has been very helpful when we reserved our new home at their West Park development.Updated 25.05.23While the sales team were spot on, the aftercare is a real problem , so please be careful .a) Customer service is appalling .b) Turnaround time to fix a problem after it is reported is 28 days .. and the contractors do a bodge job , so please report back if your are not happy with the job.c) Make sure all issues are fixed with in the warranty period, else they will wash off their hands, I am still chasing them to fix 2 major issues since we have moved in to the property .d) As I did not get a proper response from the customer services team, I had to tag there managing director on my last email.e) Soon I got an email from Aftercare manager who offered to come visit us and help us resolve the problem, so one of the issues was a leak from the shower which is 4 ft X 2 ft . The solution the aftercare manager offered us is make sure the wall are not getting wet when you are in the shower". After this I was lost for words.Please guys make sure every defect is reported on an email with pictures and chase them until it is sorted."
