The Centaur

Just be aware that you cannot take in any drinks, not even a new, sealed bottle of water. Seats are pretty close together so not much room between you and the person next to you. Usual chaos trying to get out of the car park after the gig. Pluses, plenty of free parking. Sound quality pretty good inside. Friendly staff.

Well went to the centaur to see the fabulous Jack Whitehall on his Warm up show. Had me crying with laughter all the way through. I didn’t get to meet him in person but totally worth the ticket price. All the staff were great with helping us find the right seat and really approachable plus easy to talk to. Bars were open and you could even get fish and chips. Now that’s a bonus. The centaur is huge great parking and facilities for all. I would highly recommend going to an event there. Will be back soon.

Really nice as a seated concert venue. Loos nice (could do with more ladies as always). Nice that free. drinking water was available away from the paid bar. Easy access, free parking. Really nice venue.

Nice venue but air conditioning made it a little too cool to be comfortable watching the show. Staff helpful but quite shocked that a muesli bar was taken off a lady in front of me after the bag search. I understand restricting alcohol being brought in and obviously a security search is important but not allowing a small snack to be brought in seems very petty and extreme.

Excellent venue. Will get tiered seats next time- sitting in the stalls has given me neck ache! Bill Bailey was fantastic! Staff were efficient and friendly.

Went to see Bill Bailey here. Quite a cool venue to go to. Haven’t given 5 stars as the sound quality wasn’t the best here. Needs working on to be 5 star. Staff here were friendly and helpful though. Gaining entrance to the car park was a bit of a nightmare - for some reason the venue doesn’t seem to be able to cope with the volume of traffic coming in even though there is plenty of parking. Very long queues to get in if driving in.

My friend and I visited to attend the Cheltenham Christmas Gift and Fashion Fair. We thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon, the stalls were all very impressive with quality goods. It was very busy there today (Saturday 29th October) but very pleased the show was so well supported. Excellent venue, with easy parking. We both agreed we would definitely go again next year.

A very impressive and truly massive 2000+ seater theatre-style venue. Good seat layout with wide doorways and walkways to get people in and out effectively. High quality PA system, though maybe a bit loud for a comedy gig (we saw Bill Bailey in Sept 2023) - we could certainly hear every word. Bar queues at the interval were surprisingly short, but the choice of beer was pretty limited. Car parking on arrival was well managed with lots of marshals directing traffic, but exiting was a complete zoo - multiple directions merging with not a single marshal in sight. Luckily British common sense and courtesy prevailed, but a few marshals would have speeded things up quite a lot.
