I have been using cameras for years and have always been frustrated by my lack of ability to get the most out of the large array of functions on the camera.I have constantly took photos on auto mode.A friend bought me a photography lesson with Paul for my birthday and hey presto I can now start using my camera in full manual mode without fear.Paul was informative,patient and above all knowledgeable and I would highly recommend his course to anyone else who wants to learn how to get the most from their camera.

Having just taken part in one of Paul's photography courses, I can highly recommend this for anyone looking to understand and get more out of their camera and to take high quality photographs, whilst understanding the 'science' behind this and not just use the auto button on their camera.I learned so much during this course and can't wait to get out there and take great photos, using the manual settings on my camera to do so. Understanding this gives a far higher quality photograph, whilst giving me personal satisfaction that I've understood how to adjust the settings to take the best photograph of my subject matter.Paul himself is a great teacher, very personable and knowledgeable and with the group being kept to small numbers, you are getting 1:1 time with Paul as well as support from the other course attendees.Paul also makes it fun and is very encouraging, helping you to get the most out of your camera and you leave the course with a far greater knowledge and understanding of how to use the correct settings to achieve that stand-out photograph.With regards to the location of the course, Balmaha on the shores of Loch Lomond is a perfect setting for this.Thank you Paul, a very worthwhile and enjoyable morning was spent taking part in this course. I definitely recommend this to any budding amateur photographers.

Paul did our wedding photography on 11/09/21.He was fantastic and we didn't even notice he was there during the ceremony! The photo shoot was great, he took some unusual shots which are just brilliant!We are really happy with his work, within a week we had all the images to select our favourites!First class and we would highly recommend him, fabulous, professional, reliable service and he made it fun. Recently, Paul took photos of my family during our Scotland vacation. His professionalism is equalled by his creativity and spontaneity! He was able to put our entire family, ages 9 to 68, at ease resulting in a fun and relaxing sitting! I recommend him highly!
