Gray Line Scotland

We absolutely and thoroughly enjoyed our Scottish Highland and Loch Ness Tour with Branden today. He was so entertaining and knowledgeable. We were concerned when he made the decision to go backwards from the route designated and he didn’t stop at a few things promised on the tour like Glen Coe but we enjoyed it.

This was the perfect ending to our whole week trip to Edinburgh. Me and my mom booked the Loch Ness tour and we had the most magical experience with beautiful scenery and on top of that, amazing weather. But the reason our experience was top notch was our fantastic guide Brendan. The right person for this job! His humour and storytelling made the long road very enjoyable.Greetings from your Swedish friends :-)

I booked the Loch Ness, Glencoe & Highlands day tour. We got a rainy summer day, and most of the time everything was really grey and wet, but even so the trip was really good value for money. Our driver/guide Willie shared lots of stories and a carefully curated playlist. Unfortunately, there was a road accident, so we had to take a detour and there were slight changes to the schedule. Overall, I had a great experience, would recommend!

Absolutely loved the outlander tour. Brian the guide was amazing, he has actually watched all the episodes of the programme which made it so much more personal. He knew what he was taking about and could relate to everything. His stories were hilarious and made the trip

Willie + Aric ( our driver) were absolutely amazing. Highly recommend this tour company!!! During the road willie would tell us about historical facts as we made our way to the highlands , he would tell jokes , make us sing along and overall had a very enthusiastic energy that made it very easy to be around. He would talk about outlander and movies that were filmed around different locations we were going through. I would 100% comeback and book with willie and the gray line Scotland.Love from Canada ☺️

This review is for the Outlander tour. Willie was our tour guide…. (not Bob!). My husband and I highly recommend this tour to any Outlander fan. Willie was an excellent guide - providing us with fun facts about Outlander at each location, as well as history of the landmarks we visited. We had ample time at each stop to explore at our own pace & meet back up when it was time to head to the next location. The day of our tour (5/28), the tour bus got stuck/trapped behind a poorly parked car and Willie was great at helping us all continue to enjoy the tour & make it to the destination. I will say……we had quite a few people end up on our tour bus that had never seen Outlander before and even brought their kids. Definitely was super weird! If you aren’t an Outlander fan, maybe consider going on a different Gray Line tour. 10/10 experience and the best day we spent in Scotland. Even outside of the show, I loved visiting all the locations we went to and was blown away by the history and beauty of each stop on our tour.

I booked the Loch Ness and the Scottish Highlands Day Tour and it was incredible! All the sights were breathtaking. And our guide Brendan was hilarious, entertaining, and knowledgeable. He made the experience 10 times better and I could tell how much effort he and the company put into this tour. Would highly recommend!

Had a great time on this tour. Our driver, Brendan, was hilarious. He kept us moving at a great pace and everyone on the tour seemed to be in a good mood. He also shared many historical tidbits and facts about the region only a local would know. Just as important, he handled the windy roads and occasional rainfall like a true professional- I would not want to drive those highland roads in a rental car, so this tour was a godsend. I researched many tours before booking and wasn’t disappointed. If this is your first time in Scotland and you’d like to see the “greatest hits” or get a lay of the land before more in depth highland exploration, then this is a great tour for you.
