My favourite book shop in town staffed by super helpful and kind volunteers. Great selection of books and DVDs at fantastic prices. Opening times are a bit all over the place but I highly recommend popping in whenever you can - you won't regret it!

This is an excellent little bookshop situated on the Castlegate in Aberdeen. It is run by volunteers and supports the VSA charity. At the time of visit only four people were allowed in to the shop which seems fair as the shop is small and it complies with the current social distancing policy. It is worth taking your time to browse you will almost certainly find something of interest. I found the staff very friendly and despite the limited space I was not rushed away. One final thing check the opening times as it closes at lunchtime and is usually closed by 3pm.

Amazing book shop in the middle of Aberdeen with very democratic prices, a spirit of charity, and wonderful volunteers. All of these elements combined is of course very dangerous for book collectors and their wallets :-)

One of the best used bookshops I've been to (and I've been to a lot.) Lots of great pickings at bargain prices, and it's for charity too without being one of the big high street chains. The interior might not be like armchair books in Edinburgh (where you feel you've stepped into another realm altogether), but the prices and selection more than make up for it. Very friendly staff too.✌️

great bookshop! had a large selection for a smaller shop, quiet and calm environment, lovely staff too! had a whole room for just kids if you’re looking for childrens books on a budget :) definitely should check it out

Good variety of secondhand books at decent prices. Friendly volunteer staff. Some DVDS, I think they have some CDS too. Opening hours are a bit variable as it is staffed by volunteers but always worth a visit if you are passing by.
