Retro Record Shop
Being a vintage vinyl collector i was pleasantly surprised by the collection of records the retro vinly shop has available. I have been to many vinyl record fairs and shops around wales and further a field over the years, however i now think i found my own little haven right here in newport. The staff were amazing and have alot of knowledge about vintage vinl records and i will be visiting again very soon.

Some of the records a bit pricey, but a lot of choice, and 50p records are all in alphabetical order which is easier to look through, overall a very good record shop

I have visited this Record Shop by appointment and they have thoousands and thousands of vinyl albums and 7 inch records in stock. Very Knowledgable people who have a passion for music.

Lots of stuff but i couldn’t find what i exactly was looking for. Love that under 21s get 10%!! A bit pricey, considering some 5£ CD’s jewel cases are with a lot of sratches. Recommend tho<3

I visited Retro records Newport and found exactly what I wanted and more. The staff were excellent and extremely knowledgable. Highly recommend

Got there around noon on Saturday to find it apparently shut. Rang their bell. Rang their number and a guy appeared in the shop to unlock the door. Seems a few businesses share the building. Owner of shop was in Abergavenny market with the card reader so cash only. I prefer CDs to vinyl and there wasn't much choice for me. The best stuff was laying on a trolley waiting to be priced". If I was a vinyl lover I would probably give 5 stars."
