Some nice fabric and a very knowledgeable owner. Been a few times and found the shop closed during advertised opening hours. Poor communications over classes and delivery dates. Lady in charge is extremely defensive if anything is questioned. Probably a fantastic shop/classes for experienced sewers but wouldn’t recommend as a beginner** I tried to make positive comments about the shop and again have a personal attack as a response. I tried before the holidays to come in on several days at 1:30/2pm but shop was closed If in doubt try for yourselves and see what you think- but I wouldn’t put a review if you didn’t want an attack on you as a customer **

Just wanted to say ,this shop is a little gem, it stocks the most fabulous range of fabric in quality and price , both in dress making and quilting. The shop is warm friendly and the staff knowledgeable and understanding of your needs, they take time and effort to ensure you leave satisfied , Lisa the owner couldn't be more helpful if she tried , she goes out of her way to share her knowledge ,she is patient and her sewing classes , are well loved by us , I have never known her to be closed when she should be open as I see someone has left review saying that ? This shop is one of the best around please pop in and see for yourself like me you won't be disappointed .

Whilst this is a nice shop and the staff are friendly I feel the photos and previous reviews give a false impression. The shop is small, possibly about 5 square metres and its stock is mainly quilting related. There was very little in the way of dressmaking fabric. It does have some machines and reasonable haberdashery.

This shop my friend and i found by accident, over 2yrs ago... we have been back many times and found the owner Lisa and her staff to be very helpful...... see you again soon... and very much looking forward to the 17th nov in cleethorphes for the patchwork christmas table runner class... x
