Was in Coatbridge store today with my husband to purchase a freezer. A young man called Owen was so helpful and pleasant. I mentioned that we were also considering a Ring doorbell but knew very little about them. He talked us through the pros and cons of different models and helped us make the right decision.I worked in retail for many years and know how “difficult” some customers can be.It was a pleasant shopping experience, which you don’t always get now.Thank you Owen.

I wasn't in to buy anything, but to research the latest laptops. I was approached twice to see if I needed help, but this was not done in a pushy way, and I was able to carry on without further interruption. I have bought from Curry's on numerous occasions and would consider buying a laptop from them.

Went in to buy a phone earlier today and had the worst longest painful experience ever. I was just buying the phone with no contract so thought it would be in and out in 5 minutes. I picked the phone and asked if I could have the company name on the invoice as it was a work phone. The guy looked at me as I was talking a different language and had to go and get a manager. After 10 mins they came back and I explained I just needed the company name on the invoice. She said no problem just put the name on when entering the details. This is when it got painful. The guy took an absolute eternity to enter the details with mistakes every time he was putting something in which took another 15 minutes. Zero chat while I was standing there and finally when we got to the end and I got my card out to pay he says “ I know your not taking insurance but I need to fill out an insurance form” seriously???? Why??? I just want to buy a phone and pay for it. You’ve already took up too much of my time now you want to fill out an insurance form even though I’m not taking insurance. Surely buying a phone has got to be easier than this???? Won’t be shopping there again. It is no wonder why shops are closing down and people buy from Amazon. So so much easier. Sort it out Curry’s.

Ordered a laptop online, the only stock for immediate collection was available in Coatbridge, which was convenient for me, turned up, bish-bash-bosh job done. Lovely.
