Lovely friendly solicitor for probate who talked us through everything and gave us 2 different options. They had a fair price and were very honest with what I needed. I was very happy and wouldn't hesitate if I needed them for anything else. Others I spoke to were just after what they could make off me.

Not very customer focused.I Phoned to query about purchasing a house and if this is something they offer their service, the lady on the phone told me to email them, and I mentioned I am more comfortable speaking on the phone or having a face-to-face chat. But she then replied . “ oh ok, thanks for calling, bye.”

We had a perfect experience with Devonalds, the team are professional yet personal and very pleasant to converse with and nothing is too much trouble, in fact they made such an effort to complete 2 properties for us in record time, correspondence was always sent out immediately, far better than any other solicitors I have ever used.

We sold our home and purchased another with Devonalds acting as our solicitors. Whilst the sale of our own property was smooth, the purchase of our new home was full of issues and delays (none of which we're Devonalds fault), as the vendor's own solicitors we're moving very slowly and the house we were purchasing was somewhat unusual and came with some unusual quirks that needed to be resolved before we completed.Despite this, Luke and his team at Devonalds went above and beyond to try to keep the ball rolling on our purchase, speaking with both the vendor's solicitor and estate agent to get answers to outstanding queries and push for a completion date that was sooner, rather than later.I wouldn't hesitate to go with Devonalds again in future.
