The people who work for this company have no emotion, no empathy, they show know willingness to help. They are quite literally bullies. I have dealt with them twice now. First occasion last year sometime with a man who was absolutely vile to me on the phone. Even ended up hanging up on me because I was having a discussion (slightly heated) with my mother in law about the ticket whilst he was on the phone and he said I have enough to deal with at home with my wife arguing with me so I certainly am not dealing with you two crazy women arguing" and hung up. My blood was boiling. Then earlier this week I had a letter for a different charge and the lady on the phone was just very rude

Don’t let their intimidation tactics scare you. They are pursuing a debt for a parking charge we received whereby I have the ticket that proves I paid. The parking operator will not ack this so I’ve ignored and will wait for a court hearing.8 months and they continue to harass me. I’m pretty sure they just pursue fines and hope people will pay through fear of further costs.Received a call from them today. Very polite as I normally am and calmly explained I will not be paying the charge and I eagerly anticipate a ‘gov claim for money owed’ so I can present my ticket and appeals that were ignored. The man on the phone was short and rude as though if I wasn’t going to pay then I may as well F off. He just placed the phone down and left it without responding and then hung up. I could hear the background activity while he did this.On a separate occasion I called to ask them to please stop sending letters and just escalate it so I can present my case to a judge and be done with it as they’re dragging it on for 8 months now and the chap just said if you’re so knowledgeable then you’ll know we have to send x amount of letters so why are you asking.I understand people just do certain jobs to get by but I really feel sorry for these people. It must be tough job at the best of times but to behave in the way I’ve experienced, the operatives, certainly cannot feel good about their job and themselves to an extent.Some simple human understanding could go a long way. When you’re chasing a debt which I understand is sometimes necessary and the person(customer) on the other end treats you calmly and with courtesy explaining they have a ticket proving they paid for parking and they don’t even stop to perhaps say this isn’t right or perhaps recommend an alternative; you know somethings wrong with fundamental values and standards.I’ll continue to wait for a court letter but I doubt it. I believe their tactic is to just carry on and on in the hope you’ll pay. I run a company and have to chase debts at times and we keep to a succinct but fair timeline and give notice along the way. 8 months for what they make out to be so clear cut is a excessive in my opinion and suggests that my belief about their hassling to get debts paid that may not be 100% fair, to be more likely.Il update in months to come as to whether I hear from a court or not

I am REALLY looking forward to being taken to court. Euro Car Parks and this company are scum of the earth. I honestly can't wait to sit and speak to a magistrate and tell of this ordeal from start to finish - they all need closing down under the human rights act - NO ONE DESERVES OR SHOULD BE TREATED THIS WAY - THEY ARE IN-HUMANEOnly gave 1 star so this would get posted. I parked a car and did all as was expected to register, I didn’t drive it out someone else did. This bunch of folk bought the alleged debt after no communication from the original scammers. They keep sending letters to my workplace, where they got that address from I don’t know, I have messaged 5 times now, they have my email address and my home address. They won’t answer emails and say to call, I am hard of hearing, so not any use. This is pure and simple harassment when I don’t owe anything for parking in Scotland and following the rules.Downright scammers and should be closed down.One star is one star too many.

I have written to Debt Recovery Plus about a unjustified parking fine on many occasions, around about 10 times. Even offering a proportionate settlement, this is even thought this parking fine is unjustified.I have not received an adequate response. Also their phone line does not work. These appear to threatening chancers, who are reliant on scare tactics to feed their business.The fine in questions is Ref: 11688930Date 26/03/2023Parking Notice number TC7492798AThere is clear reasoning why this fine is unjustified and disproportionate. They have failed to reply and also failed to discuss the offer, even though there is no case answer.

Unbelievable.Have a £170 fine for overstaying in a car park, which is nonsense, going on from April. Agreed to pay it over 6 months this morning at £30 for 5 months and £20 the last month.Just checked my account and they have taken £42.50????Unsurprisingly, they no longer seem to answer the phone now, so having to cancel payment with the bank, and will have to contact them via email.Absolutely shambolic company, and it’s no wonder their reviews are so low. I can appreciate they are employed by companies to recoup money, but there is a professional way of doing it.

Feel like these might be a bit scammy? I've called on 3 separate days, at different times of day and waited on hold for 45+ minutes and I have never gotten through to a person, even at 8am once they'd 'just opened'. I received a random text telling me to pay them in a vague threatening tone, no idea of how much/who the debt is owed to, and their reference numbers don't allow you to view an amount owed or actual parking charge on their website. The automated payment line asks YOU how much you want to pay with no maximum amount. Bit odd surely? And by the sound of other reviews, if you do have contact from them (which seems to be if you provide your number to THEM so they can harass you at all hours), they're not very helpful either.I'd personally be going back to the company you've been told the charge is from to verify any debt before speaking to this company.

Currently on hold 57 minutes for a sms sent to me in error. I just want to make sure they stop messaging me for a debt recovery that isnt for me.Imagine saying an agent will be with you shortly and then be on hold for over an hour trying to get through? Lol.1hr 58 mins.... this department has now closed.... woahhh. The business is something else.Update: Spoke to Dylan on 05/12/23 this person is perfect for this job, zero soul and no care in the world. Tried to explain the tracing system they use is giving them the wrong person and i can only assume based on his attitude, he couldnt care less. I disagree with Dylan that a 1 star review for a debt collection company is normal. Although id say you get your given. I.e. give poor service and just poor manners then yes youre right.Eventually after much back an forth Dylan realised i am indeed not the person and the tracing system got the wrong person however it was an unneccessary amount of time and back and forth from an argumentative tone which isnt condusive to the outcome we are both looking for.Sadly no sooner had that call finisbed i received another message woth another reference and fear il have to go through this draining process once more.

Paid the £170 in full after being spoken to rudely on the phone, sent them a receipt and wanted a receipt back to confirm payment, no answer which is no surprise. At least I’ve covered myself. If anyone can email me a receipt that would be great as you’re quick to take peoples money and send photographs. Never parking in a private car park again and these people are vile robbing people for parking just before Christmas. If I get another letter it’ll be getting ripped up as I have PAID!

There are multiple courts in Wolverhampton. Take me to any one of them. I’ve all evidence on the app and bank statements showing I paidand also remember that day like yesterday.Bring to the court video evidence of me parking for more than an hour and let’s see.I’ll also be suing debt recovery plus and the FILTHY CORRUPT INFESTED euro car parks for emotional distress..I’ll be waiting in court for video evidence of me parking more than an hour.
