The Wheatsheaf Inn
A nice place to stop and eat. We had a carvery when we visited, everything was really nice apart from over done roast potatoes, but I like them crisp. Really good value too.

Very clean and tidy. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The pub is quite a big place with a play area for children and a pool table for the older children! Food was very nice and cooked from fresh. Prices were very good aswell. We all had a fabulous time.

Good carvery food, had to ask for my pudding a few times to get it but staff pleasent. Good VFM. Quiet in midweek probably because it's a little out of the way. We'll worth visiting.

It was very busy on the Sunday we went, but it was getting into the evening. We all had a roast, with my son and I having a large one each. You can load your plate with veg, potatoes, gravy and horseradish etc, while they give you loads of meat and Yorkshire pudding. We could barely finish the food, but it was really good and value for money. Not a huge ale choice (none when I went) but most other drinks available. Tables could have been a little cleaner, but it was busy and the staff were doing all they could.

Stopped in for a bit to eat after a trip to Chester Zoo and had a good time. Staff were very friendly and food was at the better end what you'd expect for a chain pub. Prices were reasonable but sadly they had no draft ales on. Would recommend for a solid meal

Amazing place to come with your family if you're planning to have a nice evening meal.Carvery is the best option here. It is a very clean and tidy place. Absolutely friendly staff. On occasion, they might get busy, but nothing beats a good, nice chilled evening with your loved ones.

Tracey was very friendly and gave great customer service. Kenny makes the most amazing dinners said our 8 year old. She cleared her Sunday dinner and went back for more! Lovely staff, food is always lovely and we can always get a table!

Visited here on a Sunday lunch with a family of 4 adults. Outside looks very run down and inside really needs a freshen up. Stains on chairs very drab looking. However after ordering our food I would definitely recommend here for food. The food came piping hot. Small issue with sauce and side missing but quickly rectified. The food was delicious, great choices and reasonably priced. Definitely coming back to try the carvery
