To get down to brass tacks, whilst the atmosphere and staff here are excellent and friendly, the food here - although really tasty and exquisite - doesn't come in regular portions.After eating, you still feel hungry even after a main and a side. The real reason to come here is for the lunch menu, deals, and drinks.Overall, a fantastic experience but be aware that the food is small for the price you pay; so come here for a special occasion.P.S this place is dog friendly, not sure whether this means you have to go on the outside seating or not.

Quite empty here for breakfast this morning. We ordered on the website at the table and it didn't take long for breakfast to arrive. All very efficient.Mine was the full cooked Lounge Breakfast" and a flat white. The coffee wasn't very hot when it arrived and was quite small.The breakfast

Lovely cozy atmosphere in the Carro Lounge. The tapas dishes were very moorish and my wife thought the crispy chicken baguette was stunning. As this is a café / bar, you can also grab a cheeky cocktail in-between your shopping.

Good selection of food and drinks all reasonably priced, it was busy, had a short wait at the bar to order food and drinks which I had to do due to an allergy, food came quickly enough and was very nice. The staff were attentive but not over the top. Good place to go fir lunch, dinner or even just a drink. Will be returning soon.

Every time I step into this place, I'm met with a warm environment with genuinely lovely people serving you. The food is of a great quality, the drinks aren't just slapped together; pride is taken. You can lose track of time here and stay as long as you like. Its a special place that I hope never changes. The staff are helpful and considerate too.My new regular for many years to come I hope.

Drop by for coffee or light refreshments light snacks to All day Breakfast. Varied menu. Craft making area for the children to partake. Makes for a relaxed environment. Competitive pricing. Catering for everybody but leaning very much toward the Vegan and healthy options customer. Having said that it can get pretty busy at times, have yet to try an evening visit, fancy the Tapas range! It is afterall a bistro, good range of drinks from the bar, a nice casual atmosphere!

What an absolute gem!It's been a long time since Cwmbran has had somewhere like Carro.I'm back in Wales visiting family, I'm only back for a week, but I have been to Carro on two separate occasions.The first night I had the Chicken, avocado and bacon salad... I don't know what the dressing was but it was delicious! Very well prepared, and worth every penny. Josh served me and my mum, he was very friendly and chatty, he's an asset to the restaurant.The second night I cam with my cousins, and we shared two tapas trays. I will say, the tapas is quite small, and I recommend three dishes per person minimum... but wow! Patatas braves was outstanding, crispy on the outside, soft and almost like fondant potatoes. Beautiful! Everything was very flavourful, we couldn't get enough!The decor is gorgeous and eclectic, the atmosphere is really warm and welcoming.If I lived closer, I can imagine coming here to work at a table, having a spot of lunch, relaxing in the evening with friends and a glass of wine, or coming with my partner for a nice meal. It really is a great venue!

Visited today and left very disappointed. Ordered the burger only to be served it raw followed by brownies that were frozen. My Partner ordered the salad followed by the brownie Sundae and again frozen brownies and the Sundae was hollow. This was the first and last visit.
