Jill was recommended to us from a friend. We rescued Stan(Jack Russell/Staffie cross.)Stan was a very reactive, anxious and scared wee dog.Jill worked with us to help Stan find joy in his life.Jill taught us about using reward focused behaviour to try to support Stan.Jill also supported us to understand Stan’s body language, the cues he is giving us and how we can react accordingly. It has been very successful!!Stan is still a reactive dog but he recovers much more quickly. He can now pass dogs who are in relatively close proximity without much issue.Jill’s perfect mixture of teaching techniques to deal with Stan’s behaviour and how to read him is what makes Jill the perfect dog trainer.I would recommend Jill’s services to anyone struggling with their dog. Jill’s prices are very reasonable for the work that she puts in and her ability to support you to train/understand your dog.Thank you Jill! Can't speak highly enough of Jill. We had struggled a lot with our Romanian rescue being reactive to other dogs. We are now equipped with all the knowledge we need for us and our pooch to have a happy life. Our dog is very manageable now, rarely reacts and has even made a couple of doggy friends - something I thought would always be impossible. Thanks Jill, you're amazing.

Juno and I (mostly me) had one to one training with Jill last year. She really helped me understand what it takes to be a good trainer for Juno. As a first time dog owner I had a lot to learn but with Jill guiding us we found that our confidence rapidly grew with the armoury of skills she gave us.I learned to be consistent and never to be afraid to go back to basics. We have achieved things I didn't think were possible and I continue to learn from Juno every day. I would recommend Jill without hesitation as her approach is all about enabling dog and owner to enrich each others lives.I loved Otto's input too.

I have used Busy Bee Dog Training and walking in a variety of rolls since earlier in the year and from that first point of contact I cannot sing there praises enough. One of the most dedicated dog people I know! A vast expanse of dog knowledge. Such a kind and positive approach to every part of the business. The dogs absolutely love seeing Jill and I would have no hesitation in knowing the care Boris would get is nothing but first class. I have struggled on many occasion wondering where I am going wrong or how I can overcome a stumbling block.. And Jill has always been on hand to offer suggestions and help. The recent very warm weather has stopped me from having my dog out as much as he would be normally and Jill opened our eyes to mental stimulation games which have been a god send and not just for warm days. They have became a daily part of our routine. Very reliable, very reasonably priced and so easy to get along with. The dogs are always Jill's no 1 priority, she has dedicated her life to all things doggy and how to help your dog be all the amazing things they can be but in order to do that she has to be able to have that bond with humans to and she does! I can't recommend Jill's services enough. She will always be my go to!

I booked 3 sessions with Jill when my new Romanian rescue & my resident dog weren’t getting along. Although the two of them decided to tolerate one another before our first session, I kept my 3 sessions with Jill & am so glad that I did. Jill was really knowledgeable & gave me loads of advice & training tips. As so many Romanian rescue dogs can have behaviour issues, I was really worried about me unconsciously reinforcing unwanted behaviours. Jill has really helped to increase my confidence & I feel well equipped to raise a happy, well rounded dog thanks to Jill’s advice & feedback. I would definitely recommend Jill to anyone who thinks they might need input from a trainer.

This should really be called Dog & People Training! Jill is s truly wonderful trainer, mentor and coach. I wanted to bring my boy up to be a happy confident puppy, so I contacted Jill to get some sessions in and quickly realised that the training was as much about what I do as what Truffles does! Jill is so warm, caring and funny, you immediately feel comfirtable working with her. What Jill will also do is set realistic expectations about your dog's behaviour, for example, you have bought a small, white fluffy dog expect some barking but helps you identify when it would be atypical behaviour. The training is fun and educational.After my 1:1 puppy training, we have 'graduated' to the young dog socialisation classes which we get so much out of. I am so happy when people tell me how well behaved they think Truffles is when we are out and about, and I know that is in large part to my early training sessions with Jill.

I've been working with Jill for about a year now. My dog is reactive and we've seen a countless number of dog trainers over the years, at first we'd seem to be making progress but after not too long the bad behaviours would return. With Jill it's like finally understanding my dog, she sends me extra materials, is always looking to take classes on the side to improve her knowledge (when she already knows so much), and her methods really work. I couldn't be more pleased with our time with Jill.

Jill at Busy Bee Dog Training provides an incredibly effective service balanced with a pleasant manner resulting in each session being an enjoyable experience for both the dogs and their humans. For around a year she has worked with me and my very reactive rescue dog. She is incredibly perceptive and empathetic to the needs of my dog and tailors her advice accordingly. From a starting point where I could not let my dog near other people or dogs, Jill’s training has resulted in my dog being able to engage with others at a level beyond my highest expectations. My dog is a much happier and relaxed dog in general due to Jill's input.
