Ladies work very hard. There is always a queue because Boots nearby Warrengate Medical Centre is closed now. Clean and neat, very nice service, always want to help.

Called last week for painkillers,told out of stock, called again today,out of stock! Only chemist in Wakefield and they can't keep their stock up to date!When I worked in Warrengate Pharmacy we got stock in the following day when a customer requested it,

The vast majority of the staff are excellent; extremely friendly, helpful when asked, and good at recognising when to offer help without being asked.The beauty/perfume counter staff are particularly good; They have excellent memories for telling me when something will be back in stock, and letting me know when I visit without me having to go and look directly.There is a fairly good range of products for the size of the store. Pharmacy is a little chaotic sometimes,hence the four stars, but the pharmacist herself and one particular assistant are brilliant.

I checked the website for opening times on Sunday 1st Oct at about 9.00am, it says open till 12.I went down at 10.05 and all locked up. Someone came to the door and said not open till 10.30, I said OK, be back to use pharmacy. He says it's not open on Sunday...I advised website needs updating so he smiles and walks away.Boots fail AGAIN.Not

Went into store and tried to activate my student discount. The lady on the till had no clue what she was doing and moaning to me. She scanned my loyalty card and stared blankly at the till without doing anything and lied to my face about putting the student discount through.Very shocked and disappointed with this service.Will be going to head office as I can’t get through to the Wakefield store on the phone

Staff are completely rude and so unhelpful. Asked 3 times for some help in the makeup section. They all looked at me and walked away.

Store itself OK.However the Pharmacy is now extremely busy as Boots closed 2 other branches in Wakefield and most of those customers transferred to the city centre Boots to get their prescriptions.Queue can be long for Pharmacy and I along with others had to leave prescription and go back hour and half later, even then 3 items not in stock so another journey needed.

Service was much better since I last visited. Helpful staff. We went in to get a TY collectable when we dropped in at five o clock because Poundland was shut. Brilliant service and staff. Well done Boots!

I usually find the staff are polite and courteous, but when I visited on 17.09, the girl behind the counter was having a conversation with her colleague ( hardly acknowledged me). Then started to serve the next person before I had finished!!
