Sarah Kenny were really helpful in finding our new rental property. Georgie was particularly lovely, made us feel very comfortable and seemed to really care about us finding somewhere nice!So far they have been very helpful and efficient since moving into our new home.I have only taken a star off as we found the policy of only being able to make an offer on one rental property at a time a bit restrictive.

We have been using Sarah Kenny for almost a year now and Hayley our estate agent has been really helpful. She is very responsive whenever you contact here and always gets things sorted for us when we need them. Couldn’t thank her or recommend her enough

I would give 6 stars if I was able to. They are amazing. I was looking for a flat 2 years ago during the pandemic and they found me a beautiful place, then I wanted to change for a different area and Sarah Kenny helped me to look for a new place even more beautiful. They followed me and helped me step by step with all the paperwork and took care of all tax/utilities. This made my life a bit easier. Professionality, kindness are the forte of the people working in this agency. Thank you for all your help.

Sarah Kenny seems to operate under the business model of providing great service up until the point that the contract is signed at which point they shift to a stance of indifference and neglect. We had numerous problems during our tenancy (gas leak, mould, water leaks, etc.) and each time I reached out to them they tried to tell me it wasn't a big deal only to ultimately find out that I was right the whole time. Specifically with regard to the gas leak, it took them two weeks to respond and send someone out and sure enough natural gas was leaking into our property, a problem to which the city had to respond immediately. At the end of our lease my emails regarding our security deposit went 5-10 days without responses. When they did finally respond it was only to try to gouge me for cleaning services that were well above the cost they should have been given the unclean" areas they highlighted. I would never recommend anyone work with Sara Kenny again unless you feel like dealing with a negligent landlord throughout the term of your tenancy with them."

A mixed bag of experience - A lot of staff involved to get our tenancy started which made it a little disjointed. We only moved 10 days ago so early days to review. Early experience hasn't been the best hence a 2 star. Hopefully someone will tend to the several maintenance points that have been highlighted.

I rented with Sarah Kenny for over 6 years, and after all of the letting agencies I have been involved with over nearly two decades in Bristol, this was undoubtedly the best of the bunch. Communications were always quick, staff were friendly and professional for the vast majority of the time, and there was a real sense of care whenever we had maintenance issues.It’s difficult to distil 6 years-worth of experiences into a single review, but I am sure that you’d be hard pressed to find a better agency in Bristol as a tenant. The process - from initial viewing enquiry all the way through to receiving the full deposit back - was one of the smoothest I’ve experienced.Thank you to the whole team!

A VERY GOOD LETTING AGENTS. I have rented with Sarah Kenny across two properties and they have provided an extremely helpful and professional service during the process of searching and applying for properties. They have also responded quickly and competently to any issues during the tenancy. The only area that has been somewhat disappointing is the quality of professional cleaning" that the properties I have moved into have had (although perhaps this is a consequence of a poor cleaning company rather than Sarah Kenny's fault specifically). Overall though a very good experience - I would definitely recommend."

Rent increased from £1650 in May 2021, to £1730 in May 2022 to £1815 in Feb 2023. All increases were maximum (or very close to) permitted under UK law.Service was heavily skewed towards landlord, with regular inspections, large annual rental increases and an unfair claim to keep our deposit.We contested the £527 fee Sarah Kenny tried to charge us at the end of our tenancy as it was pedantic and disproportionate. We had been notified that the previous tenants were also struck with excessive exit charges and unreasonable requests as to how the garden should be maintained.After trying to negotiate (unsuccessfully) with Sarah Kenny and the landlord to reduce the charges levelled against us, we submitted a complaint to the Deposit Protection Scheme, which found that we were not responsible for all that was being charged against us. The charges were reduced by 24%!We did try to demonstrate to SK that it was excessive to ask tenants to trim back the natural habitat around the pond (which was the same length as when we moved in) and the weeds that were on top of the greenhouse, but these concerns were ignored. We clearly laid out the health and safety concerns about cutting back weeds from on top of a greenhouse, that had actually been declared as dangerous in the initial offering documentation along with other buildings in the garden, but to no avail.Most problems we raised during our tenancy were dealt with promptly. However, had complained about significant damp on several occasions, and this was never treated.Anyway, friendly staff on the whole. But huge deposit, large annual rent increases, and unfair claim to keep our deposit (with our voice not heard!).
