Went there in a group. Walked around from the river to the village. From the beginning we saw the river first, it was a peaceful vibes and atmosphere. We also explored the village. It was a really nice little village with some interesting old buildings. Stunning place with lovely architecture there. Absolute scene! A must visit place in Edinburgh, obviously. Don't miss it!

Cute location for photos. A nice magical walk. Make sure to go to the well and beneath the bridge! Not wheelchair accessible. Steep cobblestone paths.

A cute little village to visit if staying in Edinburgh. The river and the architecture make it a true natural and rural gem to spend some time. There is also a pleasant and relaxing walk to do close to the river with some waterfalls.

The views are nothing special and I was surprised to see so many tourists on the most famous spot. On the other hand the atmosphere in the village is very calm. We were there on a Sunday. Parking is difficult (no parking spaces available near the most famous viewpoint). However a little further there were many parking spaces on the street and a sign that parking is charged Mon to Fri.

Must-see place in Edinburgh! Not too far off from both new and old town, we went by foot and it was absolutely doable.We decided to come right at dawn and we had the place for ourselves.The best photo spot is at the river of leith walkway, but you kinda have to go down to the riverbank. Absolutely beautiful.By the time we were ready to leave, at around 8.30 more people were starting to get there.

Apparently a must see village if your in Edinburgh. A 30 minute walk from the city centre. A quaint little village with picturesque views from every angle. If your in the area, its well worth a visit. A stunning place with individual styled homes. There is parking near by but I’m unsure as to how much it cost to park. The Botanical gardens are also not to far away.

One of the cutest villages I’ve ever seen! This is a must-see when you are visiting Edinburgh! Make sure to go to the different vantage points to get really nice photos.It’s really easy to get too, a simple 8 minute walk from the tram station at west end!

My suggestion is to walk from circus lane to deans village. It was so charming. I loved it. I need to come back in the spring so I can see when it’s at its greenest. I loved this little corner of Edinburgh

Such a lovely place, 10 minutes walking distance from the centre of Edinburgh! You will find asmall trolley that offers coffee and other treats by the bridge, which I loved!

Very nice walk if you want a little calmer and quieter place than the city centre. It is about 20 minutes from the centre and you can enjoy a relaxing walk along the stream, surrounded by nature and beautiful houses. There are a couple of viewpoints for nice pictures, and overall, Dean Village looks like from a fairytale!
