A surprising find. Good service and the food good. Our daughters birthday who is gluten intolerant but plenty of choice. Unusually for me they didn't have any pudding I fancied. My seat was not too comfortable as could feel the wooden frame through the covering. Should have asked to change it. Will be happy to go again.

Lovely atmosphere!Delicious food!the chef is a genius!The waiting staff were so lovely.I thought my bellini was expensive for a dinky glassful and the ladies was a tad dated but not bad enough to give it just 4stars!!Had a lovely lovely meal

Had a nice meal here. Smartly presented in an old building. Excellent service. Had to try the soufflé which was fab and the rest of the food was very tasty.

We had the pleasure of dining at Banks last night.I don't normally write reviews however I had to share what an incredible meal we had.The atmosphere was lovely and the staff could not do enough to make sure your evening was special.The food simply was OUTSTANDING!From the moment each dish came out you could see the quality was first class.The starter, risotto packed with flavour and the fish just melted in your mouth.The Lamb was cooked to perfection and complimented by a lovely wine.Great value for money when you can clearly see only the best ingredients are used.Thank you to all the team for a great night.

Lovely restaurant just off the high street in Bishop's Waltham. Fantastic food, great wine selection and friendly staff. Good choice of dishes on the menu, recommend the belly of pork

Fantastic French restaurant and bar. The soufflé is the best I've ever eaten, very attentive service with extremely friendly staff. Go you won't be disappointed. Our second visit and many more to follow.

Love this place. Late birthday celebration with great friends. We all had the double baked cheese souffle for starters and I followed up with the venison washed down with the house white, Turning Heads, NZ. Always choose this here but disappointed not to find it anywhere other than here. Believe me I've tried! Wonderful staff that we have got to know well. Sorry I can't spell your name, M but thank you for looking after us all so well. And big thanks to the chef. How do you make so many delicious and diverse dishes relatively speedily? And not to forget the piano playing - taped - in the background which adds to the relaxed ambience. Thank you Banks. We'll be back.

Been meaning to come here for ages and happy that I have. We have had a great meal, good varied selection and the wine list great too. Friendly staff and warm, relaxed environment.
