I dropped my car with John at 5.30pm after a recommendation from local auto shop whilst on a family holiday. We needed it sorting before driving home the next morning so he spent some time on it that evening and first thing next morning, it wasn't an easy repair and he was very honest about that so he helped us arrange a breakdown pickup very kindly and held onto our babies car seat for us to pick up later. On the way home he called us to see if we had got home safely and said he wouldn't charge us a penny for all the labour as he understood how stressful it had been for us to get home. Just what we needed at the right time - an honest and kind person. Thank you.

My old garage had shut down , a neighbour recommended J.Y.AutosI now have been there a number of times and I have to say you won't beat this garage for first class service , and workmanship .Old scool customer service where nothing is to much trouble, but in a modern day workshop .Highly recommend this garage .

Wouldn’t recommend going here, he took my car to his garage when he was only meant to come over and look at it and then charges me £65 for picking it up even though I didn’t approve of it and then changes it to £78 when he rang for the invoice. He then wanted to charge me £78 more for him to drop it back. Only go here if you want to get robbed.

Went to see JY Autos while on holiday with concerns about my exhaust, which had developed a worrying rattle, after a recommendation from one of the friendly staff at Burnham on Sea Holiday Village. I was so pleased with this recommendation. The mechanic, a true tradesman who knew his craft, was so helpful. He diagnosed and sorted the problem quickly and spent the time needed to make sure that the problem had been fixed. There are dodgy garages out there but this guy is most definitely not one of them. Old school skills and customer service. Only wish he would move up by me.

Fantastic, friendly service. I had my vehicle recovered by them after me vs telegraph pole accident and I cannot fault them. Reasonable price, great advice r.e insurance issues and will definitely be using them in the future (hopefully not after an accident next time!) Thanks again.

Absolutely brilliant mechanic.Managed to fix my car and explain everything so that even I understood.Very thorough and never just jumped to conclusions.No over charging or extra work done without informing me.Will be using J Y Autos all the time from now on.All in all a very honest and trustworthy guy.

Recently took my Car into JY Autos, after I had it off the road for over a year, they were able to bring it back online, get it MOT'd and working as good as news.I found the staff to be knowledgeable, and very helpful, nothing seemed to be too much trouble, too ensure that I got the help that I needed, they are hands down the best Garage I have ever user, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommended them to anyone.

Several years ago now. We actually lost 2 cars as a result of taking outr business to John. Lovely chatty guy. Very friendly. However, i had a red seat ibiza that broke down several years ago. The oil light had failed to show, and the oil burned up and gave me no warning of impending failure. The car was looked at, and we were advised it was a write off . But if we wanted it back, he had already spent several hundred on it, so we would have to pay this first. So we let it go to him. He repaired it and was driving it around after this. Then a while later, we had a blue previa. It was smoking bsdly. Was advised it was diesel build up and we needed to drive it fast along M5 to burn it off. We were concerned the smoke was bluish. But we did as advised, and the engine burned out. 2 cars off the road! John said oh dear
