I went to Area 52 to have a look at a potential engine knocking noise and they couldn't have been more helpful - especially Cheryl! They had a good look at the car and were able to give a full explanation as to the noise - turned out to be piston slap. It was nice that they were honest rather than just trying to get some extra work from me. Ed had brilliant knowledge and definitely knew his Impreza engines. I couldn't recommend them enough and will definitely be using them again in the future.

I would definitely give these 5 out of 5 they looked after my 17 year old Subaru WRX STI prodrive only done a small job but they done a fantastic job of it, would definitely go back

I have used many local “specialist”, however, the only one I trust and haven’t had any issues with is Area52 Autosport. These people have helped me out many times, maintained a high servicing standard on my car and they have always been open and honest, their experience and knowledge is unquestionable. I wouldn’t take my car to any other “specialist” apart my these guys. 100% recommend.

Had my first visit to Area 52 and what a brilliant visit it was! The people there are welcoming, polite and know there stuff. Had mods capable of 350+bhp and insisted they couldn’t push more than 300bhp, I asked what I needed to do to get around 350+bhp and did not have any answers. I believe they underwhelmed the performance so I had to return for extra payment/business.

Area 52 have looked after my 1984 AE86 for the last 10 years. During its restoration they built a complete wiring loom for the car to run a Honda F20c engine setup along with mapping the car on their rolling road to extract all the potential from the tuned exhaust system and Jenvey throttle bodies. They have carried out jobs ranging routine servicing work to rear axle swaps and every time my car is given the care and attention to detail it deserves. A hugely knowledgable, capable and friendly tuning shop.

These guys were recommended to me by another subaru owner and they where very welcoming and the work was excellent. Would defo use them again... would recommended them to who owns a subaru impreza of any model or age...
