This pesky surveyor knows nuffing. He only said my rental valuation was £1700, when EVERYONE (note my use of capitals to show I'm annoyed) knows it should be £5k a month, like Joe the letting agent told me it could be if I just wished hard enough. SO ANNOYED!I bought my flat last year at £90k, and shelled out nearly five big ones on cream carpets and white paint. Surely the value has doubled, you'd think? WRONG - this blethering idiot came out, had a good look over my property, and told me it was only worth £150k, even though the figure I plucked out the air was verified by my aunt Beryl's mate, Susan, who was once married to Prince Andrew. Really disappointed.

I have viewed a house that this company surveyed and valued. It had a 1 for everything and a high valuation. In my opinion it has several areas of concern and way over valued. Ridiculous.

Trying to get a remortgage on the flat. One of the most off people came to value it from this company and supposedly they can’t value a tenement flat that’s close to a shop. Rules out most of Glasgow. Never use

Terrible service. I called today after they had been out to do a mortgage valuation survey and asked for a note of the rebuild cost for insurance purposes. The receptionist was very unhelpful and told me that, as the surveyor had not been asked to write it on the report, that it was not written on the report. It was not noted on the report- that is correct- and that was the purpose of my call. They were unable to give me any further assistance ans suggested that i go through the lender, which is ridiculous given that it's the surveyor has to give the rebuild cost. They then told me another surveyor might have to go out and resurvey the property to give me the rebuild cost, which is ludicrous considering I paid them £200 for this survey which was nothing more than a reconfirmation of the purchase price last week. I would not recommend this company at all. They are tremendously unhelpful and clearly just in it for the money. There is absolutely no sense of customer care whatsoever.

Viewed a house for sale and based on their home report, the value is far too high for the work needing to be carried out to fulfill its potential". Easily overvalued by 50 - 60k based on renovations required. Almost every category was marked as a 2 (no immediate concern but will require upgrading). Everything should be a 3 (immediate attention required). Don't know how they could be considered reputable valuation experts."

Walker Fraser Steele were appointed by my mortgage company, which is annoying, as they are from the opposite side of Scotland, so don't have local knowledge, and then they only carried out a drive by external valuation, which came in far lower than expected.There is an IDENTICAL flat above mine, except it doesn't have any gas in it, where mine has full gas central heating, and it has had a FULL home report carried out due to being for sale, which was valued 7% higher even without gas!But when I contacted them and sent them the home report, they refused to admit any error, and refused to reassess their valuation! Ridiculous!

Rude, unprofessional and incompetent. Sent a junior surveyor who misunderstood guidelines and filed a false report. I went to an alternative provider (Shepherd) and received a competent and professional chartered surveyor instead. Don’t waste time or money with this inept mob.

My EPC done by these guys is completely wrong. They assumed I have cavity wall insulation and floor insulation. I have neither. How can you just assume these things when it's so easy to check?They also stated I have 270mm of insulation when I only have 70mm. Where has the other 200mm gone?I don't think they actually do check anything just copy and paste jobs for every report.Avoid these clowns.

bought a property based on the report provided by this company ; the report and valuation was incorrect in that they had included a garage within the valuation; however the garage did not belong to the property seriously affecting the valuation . i have now written to them on 3 occasions, twice recorded delivery and after 6 weeks still await a response. i cannot believe how unprofessional this company is
