This has been our 2nd time with care fertility Manchester, the 1st was March 2019 when we were lucky to fall pregnant with our little boy, this time we have had an FET. Everything and everyone were as amazing as our first time round. All the team are so caring and kind and the clinic has a warm and welcoming feeling. Thanks so much for making a difficult process so much easier. I would recommend anyone to come here

Terrible Experience with Care Fertility's IVF ServiceMy partner and I recently underwent a profoundly disappointing experience with Care fertility, and I feel compelled to share our story to prevent others from facing similar disaster inlife. Our journey with Care Fertility, specifically the recent egg collection operation and embryo freezing plan, has been nothing short of a nightmare. The events of October 17th, 2023, marked what I can only describe as the worst day of my life—the day I was told my IVF failed. Here are the key issues that I want to share with the public:Complaint 1: Very poor doctor consultation - Dr. Stamatios KaravolosThe consultation before the operation with Dr. Karavolos was woefully inadequate. He failed to mention crucial information about potential risks, such as the possibility of premature egg release, and neglected to introduce essential technology like ICSI. Post-operation, instead of acknowledging these oversights, he actively encouraged us to return for a second round, seemingly more interested in our money than our well-being.Follow up:Another doctor mentioned that ICSI is not standard in your clinic, ICSI is actually standard in many other clinics. The doctor really should have let us know the option. The consultation basically failed because he didn’t mention anything that we need to be aware of which we came across later.Complaint 2: Inadequate Egg Collection due to doc misconduct - Dr. Jolly JoyDr. Joy's misconduct during the egg collection process was evident in the 0.5-hour delay in the operation, leading to premature ovulation. Despite claiming our case was rare, a closer look at my records revealed this unacceptable error.I re-looked into my record. The egg collection operation happened at 9:30 am on Oct 16th, which is 36.5h after my trigger injection (not 36h as planned). So this 0.5h delay definitely result in my premature ovulation. Which is a misconduct from the clinic side.Complaint 3: Fail of egg & sperm combining technologyThe embryologist's failure to attempt ICSI from the beginning, despite it being a standard inclusion in most fertility treatments, reflects a lack of utilizing the right technology and missing the fertilization window. This oversight, coupled with a lack of experience, resulted in the procedure's failure.Complaint 4: Incorrect cost informationThe financial burden associated with the treatment was substantial, far exceeding the initial estimate mentioned on your website. The clinic's poor communication, sending cost information in several different installments like an à la carte menu, was both misleading and unprofessional. In my first doc call, I asked about what is the overall cost. I was given cost estimate like 5-6k ish, the clinic didn’t send me full bill up to 8k. If I knew from the very first consultation the cost is around 8k, I would re-consider the approach.Given the circumstances and the dissatisfaction we've experienced, I really hope people don’t considering their services. The emotional distress caused by the shortcomings in the procedure is immeasurable, and the financial cost has been far more than we were led to believe.I hope this serves as a warning to those considering Care Fertility's IVF services. Our trust was misplaced, and we are left with shattered hopes and significant emotional and financial burdens. Also, if you delve into their other reviews, you'll notice that 90% of the positive feedback revolves around the friendliness of the nurses. While this is undoubtedly true and commendable, what's lacking is substantial feedback on the success rates of getting IVF procedures done correctly. Unfortunately, this was the basis on which I initially chose their services over other options.
