Ruby's Indian Cuisine
Had a takeaway on 14 Feb, was delivered promptly by a very cheerful lady, but the food was very bland compared to previous takeaways we've had. Helpings were generous and poppadoms very crisp and fresh, but starters and main courses just not very tasty. Has put me off going there again as we've now had two in a row that haven't been that good. A shame, because when they are good they are very good.

Ruby's Indian Cuisine
Tonight was our second time at this restaurant, we visited previously in February of last year. We are not from the area so can only visit when we stay locally or we would be here way more often! As soon as we booked the hotel we knew where we would be coming for dinner. The food here is amazing and the staff are so lovely. I would recommend this restaurant to all! Thank you again for another fantastic evening.

Went there with my wife and baby daughter Very lovely place with a unique Indian menu not the usual same ones like all other Indian restaurants all the starters and the main dish’s we ordered were excellent and came with a great service

Outstanding! Better than any Indian restaurant in Maldon. Definitely worth the drive or cab. Highly recommended. Just can't fault them on anything.

Disappointed yet again. Delivery was quicker than expected but cold when it arrived. 2 dishes were wrong. The chicken tikka masala was onion tikka masala and the sagaloo was spinach and tomato and less than half full. Where was the potato?? Where was the chicken?? Tasted very nice but may as well have been a lucky dip and yesterday's reheated.

Ordered on line from menu. Curry stated with pilau rice and nann. Delivered with no rice. Phoned to query told it's wrong on the website thats old menu no apology no refund. Having now looked at previous reviews over past year this is clearly a trading standards issue as this restaurant is not providing the goods described and charged for in it's on line menu. Will never use this restaurant again and strongly advise others to avoid it. Have clearly been cheating their customers for over a year! Could have updated website and chosen not to.

Hands down the best Indian I've ever had anywhere uses coconut milk and real cream etc u can tell by taste make ya fat but dam good all of it and there's a discount on one of the days I think if you collect check website but don't even bother trying other Indians now can eat in or out

The food was good for a standard Indian Restaurant experience, I would say above average in fact.Prices fair, especially drinks.The interior of the restaurant was clean and the walls white but somewhat boring and lacking in character, with the occasional picture.The service was fine although the waiter a bit dour.Fine for a large group particularly or a group of four. Smaller numbers might need more of an Indian experience.
