Love Marble Hill. It's such a beautiful beach. I love especially that cars can't get on to it. I used to go here as a child with my family, but I haven't been back in a few years. It's lovely for an evening stroll.

Great views amid the endless sea. Be prepared for the wet stuff from heaven.Just completed the 3.5 mile loop walk (anti clockwise) in 1 hour 32 minutes.

A cool beach which is not that clean or vibely to go for swim. But the walk near this beach will lead to a mind blowing place what they call ‘Harry’s hole’. The walk is worth it and it’s highly recommend. Very less people explore this place as it’s hidden from the map.⚠️⚠️Safety notice: The water rises when it gets dark and the high tide comes, it gets dangerous to be on water. ⚠️⚠️Other than that it’s a really good place to have a swim and chill around

Marble Strand Beach is a hidden gem in Donegal. It is a beautiful beach with golden sand, clear blue waters, and stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The beach is sheltered from the wind, making it a great place to relax and soak up the sun.The sand is incredibly soft and white, and the water is crystal clear. You can easily see the fish swimming in the shallows. The views from the beach are simply stunning, with the mountains of the Bluestack Mountains in the distance.Marble Strand Beach is a great place to visit for families, couples, or solo travelers. It is a perfect place to relax, swim, or explore the underwater world. I highly recommend visiting Marble Strand Beach if you are ever in Donegal. Here are some additional details about Marble Strand Beach:The best time of year to visit is during the summer months, when the weather is warm and sunny. There are a few parking areas near the beach, but they can fill up quickly on busy days. There are a few small cafes and restaurants near the beach, but it is a good idea to bring your own food and drinks if you are planning on spending the day there. There are a few hiking trails in the area, which offer stunning views of the beach and the surrounding countryside.

Were lucky to be here in hot weather at the beginning of September and liked this beach a lot. The only thing is that in spite of the fact that this is a blue flag area ,lots of people come here to walk their dogs. They run and swim where people swim and their owners sometimes don't even bother to clean after them.I think dogs should swim on beaches for animals...especially on the blue flag beach.

Marble Hill beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Donegal. At high tide it is split into two different sections, with several small yachts and boats moored in the bay during the summer season. Marble Hill is popular with swimmers, surfers, bathers, walkers, sand-castle builders and just about everybody who knows of its existence. To get to Marble Hill Beach, drive from Dunfanaghy, along the N56 towards, Creeslough. After about a mile or so, you pass the road down to Port-na-Blagh harbour. Then, after about 600 metres, take the turn off the N56, which is marked “Scenic Route”. The beach is located in a rural area, rich in wildlife. The sand dunes that surround the beach are a great place for bird watching and spotting wild flowers. It is one of the few areas in Ireland where visitors can hear the corncrake calling.

I went over to Marble Hill Strand yesterday for a walk with some of my friends, who rented a Holiday Home in Dunfanaghy, around the corner from where I was staying. When we got there, everywhere was deserted & the strand had been closed due to adverse weather conditions & storm force winds & rough seas. The Coast Guard had to rescue two people from the sea & advised us not to go into the sea due to the storms. I’m general, when the weather is good & warm with sunshine all round, one must remember that the area will be busy with holiday makers & the local community. This is one of the most beautiful places in Ireland & is well sheltered from The wind blowing in from The Wild Atlantic Way & Atlantic Ocean itself. This year, if I may say to you all, we’ve seen a lot of rain, unsettled weather & unusually cold & stormy weather. Hopefully 2024, will be much better than this year (2023). Stephen Acton.

Beautiful beach, really lives up to its reputation as one of Ireland's nicest! Sandy and clean, gorgeous even on an overcast day.

A beautiful beach located in Sheephaven Bay. A place where you can walk on a quite long beach, swim or surf in the ocean. You can have a coffee or snack from a nearby cafe.
