Very nice and curated garden centre. I loved the atmosphere even if I could not find what I was initially looking for. The staff is great, all smiles and very prompt. I ended up buying something anyway such was the pleasantness of the experience and the uplifting mood of the place. There is also a cafe and a small bookshop onsite

I love Hillier garden centre, always go for a walk around and to buy one item and end up having to get a trolley to put lots of beautiful flowers, plants and other goodies in ! Reasonable priced,Indoor and outdoor products, cafe and large carpark. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The cafe is appalling.Firstly, it was dirty, tables NOT wiped down and floor dirty.Secondly, a member of staff told us in a very rude manner that our dog was NOT welcome inside and that we had to sit outside. There are NO notices on the doors to indicate this (as I correctly pointed out). Having ordered food we had no option but to go and sit outside in the freezing cold. This is about the only garden centre cafe around a 40 mile radius that does NOT have tables set aside for a dog area (as I pointed out - which includes Hilliers in Southampton).Thirdly, the amount if time it took them to get 2 sandwiches to us outside in the cold was ridiculous, nearly 25 minutes (it was not busy).We were not the only dog owners on that day to complain. IT WILL BE A LONG TIME UNTIL WE RETURN TO HILLIERS. We will go where the staff are polite and you are made to feel welcome!!!!

Visited for the first time today (07/07/23) with a friend. It's a lovely place. All the staff were friendly.We had a delicious cream tea which was served by a very lovely, happy, friendly lady . I just had to go back in and tell her how much I enjoyed the scone, which she had made herself. It was even better than the one I had at Highgrove last week!A lovely place with lovely staff. Would highly recommend.

Coffee was good but very poor gluten free range. Considering this is a countrywide chain there definitely should be a greater range.

Superb selection of plants. The restaurant is amazing and the welcome and service you get is first rate.Will go again when I'm in the area

Staff are very nice but the food prices in the restaurant are too expensive. Food quality was average (at best). We certainly won't be eating there again. Coffee is good so might have one of those in future.

Not the largest garden centre, but has a good variety of plants etc. The cafe is especially good, serves tasty food in generous portions. Just the job if you don't want or can't walk too far.

Went in to Hilliers in Chichester today - had breakfast in the cafe we were served by two young ladies who were both extremely polite and helpful it was a delight. Went to checkout to pay for my new pots and plants when leaving and was served by a young man, again could not have been more helpful. Well done Hilliers for employing such lovely young people.
