Amazing views. Peaceful, quiet, remote and free. So many walks leading out from the car park down to the Goyt . Not too busy on a Monday but can't speak for the weekend.A Great place to pull up and spend a few hours contemplating the scenery.

This must be the best view anywhere from a car park; you can see Manchester from here! It blew my mind.It’s a narrow road getting here from Buxton; be careful and go steady, don’t rush or you’ll end up risking an accident.There isn’t a pay and display machine so don’t worry about that. Also, the surface is all gravel and unpainted so you get what you find as regards a space.

For the best sunset on a clear night. This is the place to go. Nice and peaceful very clean and tidy, ( please respect that and take rubbish home with you if you have a picnic) really nice
