Derby Bike PopUp

Many thanks to Derby Bike Popup who recently sorted out my bike for a sponsored ride and has ensured it is well-prepared for a summer cycling England on towpaths. Hardy is a skilled mechanic who is clearly passionate about bikes and biking. He is reliable, efficient, honest about what needs doing and is able to discuss issues in a clear, non-technical manner. His expertise, friendly manner and hard-working attitude have made him my go-to person for any bike repair or modification in the future. And he comes to your house! I will definitely be using him again and am recommending him to all my friends.

We’re a family of 5 with 4 cheaply bought bikes, 3 of which were unusable due to neglect & initial poor set up (think general misalignment & loose connections, broken gears, malfunctioning brakes etc, etc)... I firstly thought, I’m going to have to buy new but then saw Derby Bike pop up on Facebook & I’m so glad I did!! After an initial assessment, that determined the bikes were salvageable, all 3 were given a service & repair and are more enjoyable to use now than when brand new. An excellent service that sparred landfill & resulted in the bikes being the best they’ve been! Get yours serviced ASAP!!

Fantastic, swift and comprehensive service by a guy who knows his stuff. Arrived on time as agreed, which was nice - no waiting around unlike some other service providers who keep you waiting, or never even show up. Brilliant job done on my long unused bike, well recommended.

Really good experience using Hardy and Derby Bike PopUp. Broken spoke repaired quickly. Customer service excellent, Hardy came out to me (collect, deliver and a third time to adjust the head) so didn’t have to lift a finger! Top chap, top service, highly recommended.

Great service. I knew of his arrival time because he sent me a tracker of where he was whilst on route. Also provided good advice on maintenance and spare parts. Also great that he turns up on an e-bike with all of his equipment. Will definitely request his services again.

I have now used Hardy twice and have to say the service and overall experience plus a great price was excellent, I have already recommended his services to my friends..The fact the work I carried out at your home or work makes this such an easy choice over your more traditional bike shops who sometimes don't put the customer first.Highly recommend to anyone who needs any work carried out.Definitely a great find and nice to support a local independent business.

Fantastic service. Very responsive to messages, easy to book an appointment. Originally came to fix a broken chain and couldnt help but tinker away to make the bike run smoother. Runs so much smoother than before. Knowledgeable and professional, would highly recommend booking with Hardy. Very good value.
