0 stars if possible. Just so awful, had the worst renting experience with them - they used to be called Westgate now called Hunters. We had to take our landlord to court as we couldn't get our deposits back, they charged us for ridiculous things. The landlord fixed things really slowly, and arrived at night without notice. Also, house had mould hidden behind wardrobes. DO NOT USE

I found a place I was interested in renting and Hunters Reading were the agents facilitating the viewing. I was happy with the place and made an offer. I found Hunters to be quite pushy when it came to payments and paperwork they wanted, but when I requested to facilitate one item (my mattress) to be stored at the vacant premises which I would be occupying the next day, I was told I could not. This would not have caused a problem for the anyone at the property and I was sure the landlord would have agreed to it, however, despite numerous requests, they did not consult him until a week later when it was too late and although he agreed once he was asked, I had already placed it in storage. It meant that I coudnt move in straight away and I had to then pay for another removal service to move it to the property at a later date. I found this extremely frustrating and unhelpful. It just added further unnecessary removal costs and accommodation costs.Disappointed!I felt that they were only concerned with their own interests and mine was ignored.

Beth was amazing in helping find my property. Helped me with every step of the way and kept in contact all through. 10/10 service.

Occasionally slow to fix things, however, we were never charged for replacements and everything we requested was resolved. Harj in particular was warm, friendly and helpful. Overall a positive experience and I would rent with them again.

Beth in Reading was absolutely brilliant from the moment she answered our first call. She has been efficient and communicative at every stage. We had almost no response from other agents so Beth and Hunters deserve a big gold star.Thanks for your help Beth.

I only have positive things to say about these letting agents. They have been professional, friendly, punctual and helpful! They have seen me through 4 leaks, failed grouting and a whole host of other problems as a tenant! Brilliant team and strongly recommend renting with them if possible

Hunters were really helpful to us with finding a suitable and beautiful flat. All the agents are really friendly and welcoming. Will definitely use hunters again if we ever need to in the future :)

Beth has been efficient and communicative throughout the whole rental process, which was different to other agents we approached. I would highly recommend trying to lease a property through Beth and Hunters.
