Canterbury Laser Tag

The venue is looking a bit tired and could do with a touch of paint. Enjoyed the laser tag, though the area is more suitable for children than adults. Bowling ok, but again, could do with a makeover.

Went a couple of weeks ago to play laser tag with my family. The staff were nice but did not seem to really know how to use the equipment.The equipment also continually stopped working and we kept having to stop our games to try and get it sorted.Afterwards my partner found that he had been charged twice, after chasing it up they said they would refund him. No refund came so after trying to contact them a few times he finally got through. He was then told that there was no evidence that they charged him twice so they refused to give a refund. My partner has given them the evidence from his bank that this is the case.I will not be returning and I would not recommend.

Jack of all trades, master of none. Broken equipment, late start, barely any staff, no organisation. We were booked in with a kids birthday party with no prior warning. Brought my son for his birthday and left halfway through as he was so disappointed. Hard earned money down the drain. I had other people’s children constantly coming to me saying they were hurt, no member of staff or parents in sight - we were paying customers and I ended up having to check if these kids that I don’t know were okay! We will not ever be back and I would urge others to avoid

We had a great party here today. The kids had tons of fun with laser tag and was allowed to take our toddler on the soft play for free. Lots of space and not too busy. Food was great and staff were friendly. Will definitely be coming back.

The team at Canterbury Laser Tag are phenomenal.We chose the venue to hold a part of our joint hen and stag do.Every single person had an amazing time and the staff on thd Saturday night were superb.We all really enjoyed the two games that we had and how the set was laid out.Even if the ladies team spent most of the time screaming!The buffet food was above and beyond what we were expecting, so yet again thank you so much for hosting us.All in all a great time, so thank you so much and please ensure that you let the team know how amazing they were!See you again soon.

Booked online for 2 games with Son. Arrived to find we would be going in with a party booking of 10 young children (6-7). The space is TINY and poorly designed. No rules where given e.g No running...children were running and falling in to each other very dangerous in a laser tag environment. No explanation of the different ammo modes, scores not given after game, no supervision by staff during game. Both DD and I decided our 2nd game was not worth staying for. Since laser tag in Whitstable shut down, seems Ashford is the only half decent site around.

I booked my child's 9th birthday party at this venue, I really wish I hadn't. They literally couldn't care less. On arrival we weren't welcomed or directed, music was played so loudly it was difficult to hold a conversation. I asked about the food options as no-one had answered the phone when I called up several times to arrange this in advance. I was asked if any of the party were vegetarian, one was, and then the guy just wandered off. I assumed there would be a selection of the items mentioned on the website in the party section. The actual laser tag was OK, the room was very small but the kids enjoyed it and the member of staff running that was at least enthusiastic. Food time came and 12 soggy microwave pepperoni pizzas were literally thrown on a long table without decorations, cutlery or serviettes. Again, no-one engaged with us, we got squash and cups and poured the kids drinks ourselves, many of kids wouldn't eat pepperoni pizza, certainly not the vegetarian! We asked if there was any alternative and was given some excuse about lack of deliveries, in the end 3 cheese pizzas and 3 packs of microwave chips were located. These were then served to the children with some of the chips still frozen. We took a frozen chip over to the guy at the entrance and said it wasn't acceptable, he took the chip, said nothing, walked off and spoke to the staff member in the kitchen. Not even an apology, the staff member who had run the laser tag was mortified and apologised profusely, he went and spoke to the guy at the entrance for us and got him to agree to an extra game of laser tag for the children. The next day I complained in writing, as did my neighbour who was in attendance with her little boy. After several chase ups, I eventually got a call from someone who said that they were the manager, John, they promised to speak to the owner to arrange a partial refund as compensation and offered for us and my neighbour's family to return for free. We decided that it was so shambolic the thought of returning filled us with anxiety, however we needn't have worried as he then never got back in touch to arrange any of this, despite me following it up via email to ask what was occurring.The worst kids birthday party offering I have experienced in my 9 years of being a parent, no one even asked who the birthday child was.

My experience at this lasertag venue was disastrous. Both the guns and vests were not working, rendering the game dull and devoid of excitement. Additionally, the owners were rude and unprofessional, displaying a lack of interest in their customers. The facilities were also poorly maintained. Overall, it was a waste of time and money, and I would not recommend this place to anyone seeking a satisfying lasertag experience.

This was fun but with better organisation I feel it could rate higher.We booked for laser tag, but with only two staff members on duty trying to manage all of the attractions (the centre also offers bowling and indoor crazy golf) our session was delayed by thirty minutes and we ended up joining the group booked in after ours.
