Eve Hill Medical Practice

Amazed by bad reports which came up today when I signed in to the practice website.I have to say I have never encountered any bad attitude when speaking to a member of the practice on the telephone My calls have always been treated with respect and courtesy.

Have been with this practice since it was Dr Walker and Dr Gemmill based in Grange Road. I’ve always had excellent and friendly care for both myself and my parents. There are doctors closer to my home, but I’m happy to travel to Dudley and be looked after by Eve Hill.

Found it really easy to book a same day appointment. Kay Joe is wonderful and is a credit to the practice and her proffession. I think the model Eve Hill is pursuing with these services should be taken on board with other practices.

I've been a patient at Eve Hill for nearly 20 years and have always been treated promptly and efficiently. You tell me a doctors surgery where you get through first time! Get over it......they're busy!Staff always do their best to fit you in....if they can. Nurses are great too.....One tiny criticism......too many locums covering more experienced resident doctors. Thank you for everything you do....its much appreciated.

The doctors are really helpful and profesional. I always got help what I needed.The system is not perfect as can’t book normal appointment, only calling at 8am its a big issue, everyone calls at the same time.. and people have work/school. Sometimes I would like to book appointment in advance without urgent need and it’s not possible.I wish this could change and also unnecessary automatic speaking guy before it can connect you.

I have always found my doctors extremely good. They always see to my health needs without hassel using the online services. I even got to see dr when needed to during covid crisis. Think they all do a fantastic job and one of the best in Dudley.

Changing rating to 1 star would be zero if option was there. Can never get threw for appointments never see own Dr's or nurses and they never chase up results. I've been neglected and don't even feel safe to call them and ask for help with health issues. Last few years this surgery as gone down hill. Receptionist are rude and lie.

Absolute joke. Getting an appointment is basically impossible. Ring at 8am and your 30th in the queue. Sorry but some of us work and can't sit on hold for an hour. If you ring later then you can't get an appointment for the next day. The only way to get an appointment for the NEXT day is ringing at 8am? Ridiculous.Then, they don't want to see anyone it's all over the phone. Because they are idle, covid has been and gone. So that's the 2nd issue.Thirdly. They won't prescribe any pain relief for my tooth ache because it's a dental issue and the dentist will prescribe it. Well I'm not sure what idiot informed the receptionist this but the dentist confirmed that NO DENTIST can prescribe pain relief. They can only prescribe anti biotics.So they hardly give you appointments then they won't give you pain relief and don't seem to have a clue.Just because the pain is in my tooth doesn't mean you can't give me some pain meds. If it was my foot you'd give it me. Absolute. Flipping. Joke. Sorry but it's true. The amount of money these Drs are paid they should get their fingers out their backsides.
