Groom Gentleman's Grooming Barbers

This was once a great barbers. About a year ago I had 2 bad haircuts one after the other by a new employee so I stopped going. Having been so long I tried again with someone different cutting my hair.I went in with curtains, asked for a number 3 on the back and sides and a tidy up. The employee used his fingers ask how much I wanted off my fringe and I agreed at the top of my eye brows. He brushed my hair forward over my eyes an cut a perfectly straight line in my fringe more than an inch above my eyebrows. It was too late to stop him. It’s a completely different hairstyle and I look like an androgynous character in a sci-fi show. It looks terrible and is too short to fix. So now I have to hide it away as best I can until it grows out.I won’t be going back again. I’ve now learned my lesson.

Popped in today with my son and we both got a chair straight away. My son's barber took 2 phone calls and sent a text while trying to cut his hair....very unprofessional in any line of work. My barber didn't seem to give me any proper attention either....shaved the back and sides but never finished off with the cut throat razor like normally and 5 cuts on top with scissors and was done......very poor service today especially as they weren't busy.

The BEST! Always give me the best haircut and most importantly the haircut that I want. Travel all the way from Beckenham to get a haircut here, groom never disappoints , thanks guys! :)

The guys and gal at Groom give the best haircuts and i travel from Crawley to Lingfield just to use them. They listen to what you want and will also advise on style and products. Plus if your lucky you might get a cup of tea. Again brilliant services.

Very expensive 28 quid for a haircut and shave. Most places 15-20 for a high grade haircut and shave together. 3 pound discount every 3 visit. Joke ain't the word. Avoid at all costs. I personally don't recommend. Who in their right mind will pay £28 every week?? I won't that for sure

Go early, gets very busy. Super friendly staff and if you don't want to have the traditional 'haircut' chat you can watch the many wide screen TVs around the place usually playing a good movie.

Haircut was seriously sub par... not what I asked for but was shown the finished product before he even passed my glasses back .Uneven fringe/front, fade is higher on the right than the left(noticeably so). When I asked for a subtle undercut and showed the barber a photo (high side undercut like Thomas shelby style) his first words were 'if its undercut you want it low down.'No. I want it high like I explained and showed in the photos. The response was a shrug so I assume he doesn't know how to do the cut.One member of staff looked like he wanted to leave and while cutting hair was slumped frowning in the mirror.I wasnt greeted as I walked in and had to actually ask 'are you doing walk ins?' To even get someone to notice I was there. Once in I had to walk through piles of hair and tissues. (No one swept in the 2 hours I was there) and sat in a chair which hadnt been brushed off or even blown with a hairdryer.Wouldn't return and wouldn't recommend.When I started writing this review I was thinking 3 star but the more I think about it I do not have a positive thing to say.

The barbers took great care with my dear 90 year old friend. They were friendly, gentle and very courteous. He had not been to a barber for many years. They washed his hair, cut and shaped it, blow dried it and trimmed his eyebrows. Excellent service, thank you
