InstaVolt Charging Station
A decent charge stop. I was able to charge up to 80% in around 25 mins from a steady 85-89Kw charge but no 120Kw as shown. Access is ok but a bit tight. You would struggle if both bays were occupied by modern larger EVs. This could have been 5 stars but Instavolt are let down by their scandalous pricing, however there is nothing cheaper anywhere near here.

All good. Both bays free when we arrived. Couldn’t start the charge from the App though, had to use contactless.The App asks you to choose unit 1 or 2, but I couldn’t see any labels so maybe as was trying the wrong one.

Quick set up and easy contactless payment. The only niggle is the parking bays are a little tight. Handy Tesco express and a kids park opposite to keep the family entertained for 20 or 30 mins whilst charging.

Neither charger would work. Charging system fault. Says the charger can't connect to the network. Turns out, after a quick call to customer support I was doing it all wrong. Got back on the app & did the charge sequence as instructed & all was good.

Brilliant charge. Very quick (over 300 mph) charge with a Tesco, pub and park. Be aware there's a charge for the car park, but a drink in the pub and it's free (although I went in to use the toilet and the chap behind the bar let me enter my reg for free parking anyway. Awesome).

Slow charge today, 70kW max so took 40 mins from 15 to 80%. Still quickest charger around the area though.There is no charge for parking, the charge is for the small car park for the pub. There are 2 ANPR cameras covering the entrances to that part but none covering the way in to the chargers so no need to pay for parking.

No issue, logged on and away we went…we were charging, parked in a little retail area with Tescos express and a hairdressers good site

Chadamo on number 1 is dead. After several attempts card was also declined. Had to use app to use chadamo on number 2.
