Nick Carrington

Thank goodness for Mr Nick Carrington. 37 years ago I had a successful ceramic hip replacement at Bradford Royal Infirmary. I had a scare about 10 years ago, which turned out to be sciatica down the same side as the original surgery so was referred to Mr Carrington who monitored it until 2021 when it was found with xrays and ct scan that the replacement had loosened.I am so grateful to Mr Carrington for putting me on the waiting list. I knew the pain was getting worse but didn't want to give in as I am self employed. 4 months later in November 2023 Mr Carrington replaced the head as the shaft was fine after all. I had a 5 day stay at Clifton Park hospital who were also excellent, particularly the ward doctor Kem, anesthetist Mr Cundall and night nurse Will. A very comfortable, clean hospital.I am progressing well after a month and keeping up with the all important exercises. Thanks to Mr Carrington I will have a future pain free.
